Great for the 21-30 crowd. If you're older than that don't bother. The hormones were so think you…read morecould cut them with a knife! Everyone is dressed in black for some reason. Mostly goth I think, with a sprinkle of punk. Leather is definitely in at this club. Security is everywhere. You must be vaccinated to get in, and show proof! They frisk you at the door and THEN they use the metal detector wand on you. Once inside there are a variety of VIP booths. If you are a nobody like me, and even get NEAR one of these, you are immediately met by nasty security folk who rudely shoosh you away. "These booths are VIP only.." There are also roaming security people. So many of them I was in awe. I guess they really have to be on alert for the riff-raff? "Well what the heck were you doing there Tony if you're so old?" Hey watch it, you'll be old too one day! That said, I'm not sure . Oh yes, I somehow misread an event on EventBrite and bought a ticket. Since I'm from out of town I had assumed this place was an actual stage! And that there was live music. NOT. It's all DJ stuff. Well, interestingly, YELP decided to use MY picture of the light show over the bar as the headline shot. So, maybe I WAS there for a reason? Anyway if you are a youngster over 21 and under 30, you will most likely have a good time. I seem to recall going to discos quite a bit when I was that age. Not a bad place for dancing and some entertainment! My friends and I came here for our last stop…read morewhile out in Pioneer Square and had a fun time at Stage Seattle. Stage Seattle is huge! The space is kind of a maze once you enter. The dance floor is a decent size, with lots of booths for the best seats. In fact, the DJ even got off his stage to start walking along the high beams of the booths and was interacting with everyone. It was a fun vibe. It took forever to get drinks though. We decided to not stay very long due to how crowded it was and with such a long line to get drinks on a Saturday night, close to midnight. Staff was friendly though and liked that they played some good music, like hits from the early 2000's! Oh yeah!

I mean, from the moment I walked in, I could just feel the spirit of hospitality, and you know that matters--because as it says in Scripture, we are called to welcome others with a joyful heart. Now, first things first--the atmosphere? Absolutely darling. Soft lighting, fresh flowers on the table, and everything just so clean you could practically eat off the floor (though of course we behaved ourselves, bless it). It had that cozy, peaceful feeling that just makes you want to sit, sip your sweet tea, and talk about all the Lord's blessings. And the food... well, let me testify. I ordered the fried chicken, and honey, it was crispy in a way that felt almost divinely inspired. Juicy, flavorful, not a single corner cut. The mashed potatoes were smooth as silk--honestly, I told my husband they reminded me of what manna must've tasted like if it came with butter. And don't even get me started on the biscuits. Light, fluffy, and served warm--just the way the Good Lord intended.

I didn't understand why there was only one bartender working. It doesn't cost that much to have an extra bartender working, and if its slow, you can always send that person home early. People were leaving after not being able to get a drink. That's bad management if you ask me. There were at least 50 people there. Eventually, another bartender came on around 12. We left right then.

Pitcher goes crazy and I love the platforms of different levels because you can catch a breath at your own convenience. Staff works hard to ensure that everyone is safe from the line outside to the front of the stage. Extremely impressed by my experiences here...perhaps my favorite live entertainment venue ever!

There's a good amount of seating in the platform area and a large open floor in the middle. A lot of people also stand/dance on the same platform as there's a lot of leeway for you to move between areas. I never really do coat check because I'm paranoid about not having my things on me, but the one here is easy and reliable. The only real issue was the photo booth which only worked for the first half hour or so. I'm assuming it ran out of film or something because at some point, it just kept taking people's money without taking any photos, which was brought up to the staff. This isn't necessarily on Showbox since the photo booth is provided by a vendor, but I would've appreciated an "out of order" sign. If this happens to you, you can visit the vendor's website and call for a refund!
