I had an SR22 filing, a legal requirement that only the insurance company can see--not the customer. In June 2025, I sold my car and canceled the title. I then asked Bridge First to cancel my insurance. They did so without warning me that canceling an active SR22 policy would lead to automatic suspension of my driver's license. The cancellation was processed by Jessica, with no mention of the SR22, no questions asked, and no warning. A simple reminder would have saved me from losing my license, paying $175 in fees, and going through the stress of reinstating my driving privileges. When I called to understand what went wrong, I spoke with Wade, who was dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of assisting, he said it wasn't their responsibility to check my file or remind me about the SR22. Worse, he tried to shift the blame to Progressive, insisting that they--not Bridge First--should have warned me. He also claimed he couldn't discuss the SR22 further unless I showed it to him or got it from the DMV--a clear sign he doesn't understand that SR22 filings are only visible to insurance providers, not consumers. As a result, I wasted another hour on hold with the DMV, only to confirm what Bridge First should have known all along. This is unacceptable. Bridge First Insurance acts as if they are only here to sell policies--not to support or protect their customers. They take no responsibility when things go wrong, and their staff clearly lack basic knowledge about what they're selling. They also refused to continue communication, leaving me to clean up the mess alone. If you're looking for a company that understands insurance and values its customers, look elsewhere. Bridge First will not stand by your side, and their negligence will cost you time, money, and unnecessary stress. They do not deserve the ratings they currently have.

I contacted a few brokers and Alliance was by far the easiest to deal with and very responsive. After their initial reply to my online inquiry, I emailed back and explained what I was looking for and that I was hoping to get some new coverage as soon as possible. Paul wrote back right away and asked a few basic questions about my business. I responded late that night, and the next day they were able to get me a very reasonable quote, send me an application, and bind coverage in just a few hours, and I didn't even have to pay any portion of the premium upfront in order to get the new policy in place! Alliance set me up on quarterly payments and told me I would receive my first bill in a few weeks. I also had a couple of big contracts I was about to lose without proof of insurance and Cheri was able to generate a COI and send to me right away that same afternoon, which I greatly appreciated. I was very impressed with the fast, friendly and efficient service I received from Alliance and would definitely recommend them to any small business looking to get affordable insurance coverage quickly and without a lot of the red tape and headaches that you usually encounter when applying for a new policy. This is unfortunate because I was happy with them for a while. However, the last few times I've reached out to them for time-sensitive important matters, it took an unreasonable time for them to respond or I would get no response unless I followed up. The service I received from a particular agent from this office most recently was very disappointing. Rather than taking the time to talk to me, give me detail options or give me a quote, she just quickly responded that I'd "probably get a better rate through the insurer my mortgage company is using" - even though my mortgage company highly recommended that I go through my private insurer for better rates. It just felt like the person didn't want to go through the hassle of looking into it or even calling me rather than a quick response via email. This is definitely not what I expect from a State Farm agent. I almost gave up and was just going to go with the crazy high rate for the required supplemental insurance through my lender, but then another State Farm agent reached out from a different office and they were more than happy to call and take the time to look up my options, find out more about my situation and what would work best for me - they were also super nice and made an effort to get to know me and offer me other plans I may want/need in the future without being pushy at all. In the end, this other agent was able to find me a rate that was only 1/3 of what my lender was quoting with much more comprehensive coverage! Anyway, like I said - I was happy with the service from this office the first several years, but I would be wary if you get similar service to what I received within the last year.
