They told us that because she's in marching band the pads would need to be replaced every year. So, the 3rd year we decided to purchase insurance, which cost 125 dollars, up front for next year to cover the repairs needed. This year when we used our insurance that we paid for last year. All they did was re-align some minor parts and were able to return our instrument to us within a day. So, this feels like if you purchase the insurance ahead of time, they will do the minimum work on your instrument but if you have an open check book, they will sock it to you.
