Dr Liu is absolutely the best Chinese medicine doctor ever! At first I went to her for my 7 years of chronic shoulder/upper back pain and intermittent chest pain that was diagnosed as costochondritis which there's nothing western medicine can do other than prescribe NSAIDS and muscle relaxant. She gently moved me a certain way and the sharp chest pain went completely away. She also used 1 needle for my shoulder/upper back and it's been 6 month since my shoulder has been free from pain! She also has amazing pulse reading skills! The first time she took my pulse she knew exactly what day I am on my menstrual cycle and knew I have issues with bloating without me mentioning anything! Amazing! I went for to help cure/resolve/reduce the pain I have due to my Cellbow (tennis elbow/cell phone elbow) created by always holding my iPhone 13 max in my same hand at same akward position. My parents always told me that if I ever want to find an acupuncturist to help with my health, that it's really important to find a good one. Being new to the area, it was hard to know who was good, but I was fortunate enough to get recommended to Dr. Liu by two different friends. I was still a bit hesitant at first, but ended up taking the plunge and trying it out - I'm so glad I did. On my first visit, she was able to immediately diagnose various problems by reading my pulse, and I was impressed by how accurate she was with the diagnosis. Within a few visits, she helped address issues with my stomach as well as with some brain fog. She also gave helpful tips to focus on outside of the visits, like how to best exercise to avoid qi stagnation. You can also tell Dr. Liu genuinely cares about her patients getting better - she's very responsive if you have any questions at all. First of all, Dr. Rachel is Top of the Top Acupuncturists in town if not, the whole west or nation. Secondly, your ailment did not take overnight to happen, therefore, it will not take overnight to heal. There is a certain length of time to heal and unique to each and everyone. Give some time for your body to heal and with Dr. Rachel's treatment and expertise, it has proven that she gets to the core source of the problem and again, with time. Amazing! Very different than most therapy sessions I've received but probably the most effective. The only drawback is that it is very sticky - you need to keep coming to get this wonder treatment, which requires paying more frequently. I had a very poor experience. Shes Too expensive for the services provided. She spent 5 to 7 minutes talking with me for the first visit! then stuck needles in me. I have to say I'm very impressed with Dr. Liu expertise. Like the previous reviewer said, you will be shocked how young she looks but she's really experience and patient. I brought my 84 year old mom for an emergency treatment this past Saturday, no one could take us except Dr. Liu. She is ver compassionate, willing that forgo her dinner to treat a new patient. My mom has encountered a sudden knee pain and could not walk. Dr. Lui was able to treat her knee pain, not just acupuncture, she also spotted her spinal and pelvis problems and adjusted those areas for my mom. After the treatment , before we left her clinic , my mom told me she felt 50% better. Next day, she completely recovered, back to her original self. Even though my mom old age injury is not completely fit but the speed recovery from not able to stand and now able to walk without a cane, I'm honestly very impressed. read more

I just had my worst upper back / neck pain that I was forced to spend my whole weekend in bed, I tried my usual methods as I always did for many past years, but I had no luck this time. So I called Dr Liu (Rachel's father - I was his patient many years ago.) on Monday morning, but his schedule was already full for the week. Luckily, Dr Rachel set me up with a same day appointment. After the magical diagnosis like others have mentioned, Dr Rachel explained the root cause of the pain that I m having, and the plan of the treatment. Although the explanations makes a lot of sense at the time, I can't help but feeling skeptical during the treatment because it wasn't focusing on my upper back nor neck. But at the end, my doubts were put to rest. While some of the pain was still there, it was totally within manageable levels, I was able to go back to work the next day. I've been longing to visit a Chinese medicine clinic for health care for quite a while, and finally I got here! I visited this place last Thursday for a special summer treatment (三伏灸). Dr. Rachel Liu was really passionate about for her work and was very patient in explaining how the treatment works. Though looking very young, Dr. Liu has been studying and practicing Chinese medical treatment for more than 10 years. I can tell from our conversation that she is very knowledgeable about the field. This is also proven by her magic-like diagnosis and treatment. Before the treatment, she diagnosed my health state by feeling the pulses on my wrist. I was very surprised by here technique - she could accurately tell the symptoms I had before I told her anything!! The experience of the treatment is also memorable. I could feel my body healing during the process and my digestion function is much better afterwards. As to the environment, JingMing is clean, quiet and warm. I feel very comfortable there, not stressful at all as you might feel else where. The place is not big, but the rooms are well structured so that everyone can have their private rooms for treatment. There is a Washington park right across the place, so it's easy for me to find parking spaces as well. Overall, I think JingMing health center is a really nice place. I have been seen Dr. Liu Rui for almost 3 years now. She is super nice and very experienced. I used to have immune system problems. She can always tell me the real/hidden causes for my symptoms. She helps keep my body balanced and in good condition. Other than acupuncture, she is also very good at soft chiropractic. She can easily fix my neck/legs without any pain. I brought my husband there to treat his severe back pain. I usually go there twice a month just to help keep myself healthy. Personally, I don't like to drink chinese medicines.
