I had my first retesting today and it was quite thorough. I had to go in the booth (2) times as there had been some tones of hearing that I was failing to pick up. These were adjusted and it made a big difference in my ability to hear when around crowds, in Church, (music) and especially motors and fans. I now can hear at above 80% of the sounds around me and I am more comfortable being around large gatherings. I am now using the apps on my devices to control the environment I'm in and with the changes I now control the sound around me. I want to thank Ashley for taking the time to retest me and having the patience to work with a guy that says HUH a lot. I highly recommend Acute Hearing for the elderly folks that are in the same situation I was in. I am 89 years old. 1st time with my appointment I waited for 45mins and I learned that I have dry blood in my ear, was send home with ear drop cause me about $14 with instruction 1 or 2 drops/day and to return in one month. 2nd time, when I return again waited about 20 mins. Before they take a look at my ear she said " I don't understand why you are here bc we don't remove dry blood, and NOT sure why your 1st appointment that they give you the drop . Have used this location since initial need for aides in early 2016. Service has gone down hill over last year. Doc doesn't listen and barely looks at my aides. Just wants you out of there!!!!!!!!! Rcv'd letter about possible extension of warranty but that was blown off as well. Just complained how many front desk personnel (5) she has had over last year. Seriously I needed to know this? After 1st of year will be checking out "Miracle Ear" for future needs. read more

Beware, Acute does not stand behind their product! When I purchased my hearing aids I was told they would last 5 to 7 years. Mine barely lasted 3 years. I had an appointment and Angie said I was the second person that week with the same issue. I was assured that the technology had improved. I was willing to purchase a new pair but I asked for an adjustment on the original pair that only last the 3 years. I was told they would give me an adjustment if I didn't use my insurance.
