I was diagnosed with hearing loss at 18 years of age. It took me 32 years to finally get fitted for hearing aids, and it was the best decision I've ever made. For years I thought I was getting by with lip-reading and filling in the blanks (neither of which worked well). It wasn't until I tried on a hearing aid in a restaurant that I realized how much sound I had been missing. It was life-changing. After that moment, I visited The Hill Hear Better Clinic and moved forward with testing and a hearing aid fitting. The entire process from start to finish was effortless. Dr. Hill did a wonderful job explaining how my new aids worked, setting up the app on my iPhone, demonstrating all the features, and fine-tuning them when I needed them after the first week. The hearing aids I purchased are simply amazing. The moment I put them on all of my senses become engaged. My family now knows when I don't have my "ears" in and joke that I am way more fun with them in - because I don't miss a word they are saying! I highly recommend The Hill Hear Better Clinic! read more

i have had nothing but excellent care and attention from the Hill Hear Better location in Montgomery. The staff is helpful and very friendly. My Audiologist is extremely knowledgeable & patient, which is absolutely necessary when hearing aids are involved! His main goal is to have his patients' hearing struggles addressed and improved as much as possible. After spending several years with a large corporate owned company with many locations, I am so pleased to be with a family-owned & operated clinic without all the turnover that other large companies have & more importantly, knowing that I am more than just a "number". Obviously, I would not hesitate to refer anyone to either of the Hill locations-your satisfaction is guaranteed! read more

I've been a delighted customer of The Hill Hear Better Clinic for a number of years. They are consistently outstanding in service, knowledge, support, friendliness, timeliness and caring. They have directly made a significant improvement in my quality of life through the hearing aids I obtained from them and their ability to program them (both a science and an art, IMO) to optimize both my hearing and understanding of speech. They are the best at what they do versus any other audiologist practice I've used. The products they offer are of the highest quality. They both advise in choosing a product, and are unusually competent in their programming and use. I highly, highly recommend these folks. read more

I always enjoy my visits to see Dr. Ryan and his staff! I had my check-up today and it's always informative and pleasant. Recently, I was having trouble with the charger not charging my hearing aids and the molding weight was causing it to slip from the magnetic holder. Several weeks ago Nancy found the version 3 model for me and NO issues since. This was the kind of service I get all the time-Nancy jumped right on the problem and resolved it fast so that frustration in not felt and a reason to not use the aids. I love how much better I can hear and so glad they fixed my charger problem. Thank you Dr. Ryan Hill, Nancy and Jacqui! From Wyoming OH! read more

My husband and I both needed hearing aids. We had received our exams from another company. Due to our insurance we were referred to Hill Hear Better Clinic. What a wonderful experience we have had. From the initial contact to schedule appointments throughout the placement and training on how to use the aids we have received nothing but exceptional services. Dr. Hill and his staff are professionals through and through. If we had know about Hill before our exam we, without a doubt, would have trusted them to complete the testing also. read more

I'm a long standing patient with Dr. Hill. I recently went from wearing one hearing aid to wearing two. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and service. Dr. Hill spent quality time with me, answering my questions and making sure my fit was comfortable. I had a follow-up appointment two weeks later, getting minor adjustments and tips on using the Thrive app that is synced to my Starkey hearing aids. I had no idea how much I was missing out on until I got my new aids. Excellent care and great staff! read more

I'm a long time patient of The Hill Better Clinic so when my hearing with my aids became a bit muffled I called them up and was told to come in and they would clean, dehumidify, and replace the mic/screen. I went in the next day and they did just that for a very fair charge and my hearing now is crystal clear. My wife is pleased too. She was getting tired of me asking her to "please repeat that." read more

They listen to their patients' evaluations, questions, and hearing concerns, reminding us that hearing is a subjective as well as objective experience. That may seem obvious, but to many audiologists and clinicians seem to feel and act as though their training and experience trumps the patient's. Very refreshing and helpful toward regaining as complete a recovering of hearing loss as possible. read more

I have bought hearing aids from 3 Cincinnati vendors.. The Hill Clinic is by far the best in the city in so many ways. They do a really professional job of ensuring that the aids are properly aligned 'in-the-ear'. Most clinics miss this important step and simply assume that the aids are OK right off of the programmer. Absolutely top notch!! read more
