During my search for a new Dr, I was looking for someone who understood the balance between eastern and western medicine and who also understood functional medicine. I came to him on the tail end of years of chronic illness, and I truly have not felt this healthy and balanced in my life since way before my 5+ year illness. My acupuncture and cupping sessions with him are perfect. I have been receiving acupuncture for over 20 years, and my sessions with Dr Wells are exemplary. My care also includes other amazing providers and protocols at Reconstructed Wellness. I have seen Dr Menk Otto for asthma and allergies for about 2 1/2 years now. TLDR: Dr. Alex Nguyen Johnson denied me access to birth control, just before I left for my…read morehoneymoon. I started seeing Dr. Alexandria Nguyen Johnson in early 2020 and left mid 2021. During that time period she made many questionable decisions regarding medications and care. Eventually, I sent her an email in frustration with our communication, to which she responded that I find another doctor (no recommendations). At the time, I was approaching my wedding date, and just didn't have the energy or time to find a new PCP. I was offended this was her reaction and there was no further communication. Weeks later, I had my pharmacy call in a prescription refill request. She filled it. So, in my mind, she's still my PCP. The day after my wedding I realize I am nearly out of my BC pills. I have the pharmacy call in another prescription refill request and she denies it. I call her cell and leave a message, telling her that I'm confused as to why it was denied. The pharmacy told me the reason for denial was "no longer under care". So, I explained to her that I dont have another doctor at this time, and again, how I am confused as she recently refilled RXs for me. I'm desperate, and telling her so. She doesn't call me back. I'm leaving for my honeymoon in less than 12 hours. I call the office a couple of times and end up speaking with Jason, who seems just as confused as I am, as to why she hasn't filled the RX. He tells me, "she's seen you in reasonable time to refill it". I tell him about my flight leaving soon... for my honeymoon.... He says he'll call her and call me back. Later, I get a voicemail from him: 'unfortunately, Dr. Alex cannot fill the prescription'. I am furious. I am frantic. When I return from my honeymoon I see an email from Dr. Alex... 'congrats on your wedding, apologies for the miscommunication'. She proceeds to tell me that she refilled my other prescription requests "as a courtesy", and then gave me recommendations for new doctors. DR. ALEX DENIED ME ACCESS TO BIRTH CONTROL, JUST BEFORE I LEFT FOR MY HONEYMOON.

No one was available for an appointment I scheduled here that I drove an hour to attend to. On Tuesday I scheduled an appointment for Friday (today) at 12:15 PM. I called around 11:30AM to confirm my appointment was still on, which it was. I have been waiting and it is now past 12:50 PM and there is STILL absolutely no one here. Front door open and all. On top of it all, I drove back from work about an hour away last night for this, in which I usually stay the night near work until the end of my work week. Now I need to drive back and spent time and money wasted here. Missed out on getting lunch with a friend visiting from out of town. DEFINITELY won't be coming back here.

A couple months ago, I woke up in the middle of the night from a intense twinge in my neck, to then…read moresuddenly realize it took all my effort to lift my own head off the pillow. I couldn't sit up or roll my body over....my neck felt literally frozen in place. It was pretty scary. My boyfriend put in a call to his longtime chiropractor, Dr. Sullivan. He told us to come in that morning. With much assistance from my bf, we made it to the office. Dr. Sullivan had the acupuncturist work with me first in an attempt to manage some of the intense pain I was in. He decided to err on the side of caution, and sent me to get x-rays at a nearby hospital before he did any adjustments. The x-rays came back OK a couple days later and he got me right back in. Lots of "muscle stretching" (clearly I dont know the technical term), vibrating spine machine, and crazy-snap-neck moves, and I felt worlds better, just sore. Some of my neck symptoms came back yesterday, and Dr. Sullivan fit me in right away again. My neck feels almost back to normal after my appointment, thank goodness & thanks to this guy!
