I have experienced much relief and have been able to avoid brain surgery that had been considered by neurosurgeons at Mayo Clinic. I am very familiar with testing techniques and with treatments. I recently moved to TN so needed to find a new acupuncturist. Dove "Healing" was THE WORST experience I've ever had. Linda's diagnostic testing was very skimpy and she provided very few treatment points, but the biggest problem is that she left me with two injuries much like blood blisters -- a smaller one on my scalp that left blood on the pillow and a much larger one on my shoulder. When I pointed them out to her she said something dismissive like, "Oh, I go for several months without causing any of these, and then you get two of them." I told her I'd never had these before and she sort of apologized, but not so much. The blister part on my shoulder went down in a day, but I had a 2" x 2" bruise on my shoulder that took about 10 days to disappear. There was a painful lump in the middle of the bruise and I initially wondered whether she'd broken a needle off in my shoulder. She also pushed a variety of herbal treatments, even though she said her testing revealed that I didn't really need anything. She wanted me back within a few days but, of course, I did not return. VERY bad experience! I traveled back to Florida two months later to see my acupuncturist and he diagnosed the issues that needed to be addressed and got me back in balance in a short time. I strongly advise against going here.

If you've been to a serious acupuncturist before, you wouldn't be taking your own needles out after an hour with them in. For a holistic medicine practice, you would think there would be compassion and intentional care, but twice now Blake hasn't produced. She didn't have a great experience with him the first time, and gave him the benefit of the doubt to go back a second, only to have the rate increase $20 and have an even worse experience. I arrived promptly at 10 and at 10:50 I still had not been called back. I inquired as to why. I was kind. I am always kind. At 11:30 I was sitting in an exam room waiting be seen when the office manager came in and told me that she had witnesses stating I had been cursing and using the f word and they would no longer see me. I never ever talk like that. I was fired as their patient because I gave them a bad review at my first visit. I am 72 years old. I am a strong Christian retired RN. Never in my life have I been so mistreated by a practice. I have filed a complaint with both the BBB and with my private insurance company. I am absolutely devastated. I don't understand how they could just outright lie. I do not blame Dr. Hinds or Erika, her nurse. it was entirely the front office staff.
