    Ken's text messages to me

    Ken from Acupraise has to be one of the most unprofessional service providers I have ever dealt with! I'm looking for an appraiser, I enter my contact information in at night. I am at work extra early in the morning and I get a text from Ken at 9:40 in the morning reaching out. I work all day and cannot answer a text message like this. At 4 PM he text me back and simply asks me to respond either way, still working I can't respond yet. Then at 5:38 he sends the most nasty text message " if you were that lazy you can't respond to a text message or a phone call. Stay off the damn Internet, you're costing professionals money". Mind you I'm still at work however I am done I'm cleaning up, I haven't had the time to text him back. 10 minutes later I do respond, but I am ticked off! No respect at all for the working person. Leave me a message and I will get back to you. This man does not deserve to be in business. Extremely disrespectful and rude! He does not deserve any business

    My experience with this company (or maybe just the owner) has been the most horrible and unprofessional that I have received in a log time. Here is the story. On Tuesday late afternoon I put a request for an appraisal into a website that is supposed to generate options for multiple appraisal companies and pass my information to them. This website was Home Advisor Pro (pro.homeadvisor.com) and it passed my information on to Ken at Acupraise. Now to the really strange and unprofessional parts... I live in a rural area that has little to no cell coverage. I had taken Wednesday off from work and spent most of the day working in my garden. My phone was with me at my home, but I am lucky if I get one bar at my home. I also did not check my email, being as I had given myself the day away from work. As I arrived in town for my grocery shopping I received a text message that read "If you're gong to look for a professional the least you can do is respond" I then looked and realized that it was attached to a first text message that had been generated a few minutes after I filled out my from with Home Advisor Pro on Tuesday evening. The first message was the professional contact that I expected. Stunned by the aggressive and whiny message that was my first introduction to this company (although it was technically his second message), I responded with an explanation that I live in an area with limited cell service and that the text I received might be the epitome of unprofessional. It then deteriorated into an aggressive email exchange where Ken complained of waiting over 24 hours since his initial contact (it is true, at that time it had been 26 hours since he had initially reached out) and that I should have responded already. The email exchange was odd and the worst way of courting business that I have ever seen. Fast forward to today (Thursday) at 830am and I was checking my emails. I saw the email from Ken connected to the RFI generated by Home Advisor Pro. I reached out with the following email: "Ken, I am checking my email now and see your email from yesterday. It is unfortunate that you chose to harass me for taking a day off to myself. You were the first person to reach out, and in doing so would have been the first person I responded to. I have reported you to the lead generator that put you in touch with me, and I kindly ask that you do not harass me any more, and delete all of my contact information." I then received this email in return: "Like that is going to bother me your a joke and you should have never responded since you're good at that" I understand that people work at different speeds. I also understand that while some people like myself have midweek days off, others take a traditional weekend. I would not have expected a response on a Saturday or Sunday just because those are the days that I work. This whole exchange based around my inability to respond to someone reaching out to provide services took place between Tuesday afternoon 430pm and Thursday morning 830am. This is a level of ridiculous that I have not dealt with since I stopped dealing with celebrity assistants years ago.

    For someone who has "25 years of experience" they clearly have not had any experience in customer service or humanity. I wish I saw the previous reviews on Yelp prior reaching out via home advisor. Long story short, he contacted me at 11pm and it was not an appropriate time to talk. I asked him to contact me the next day, which he did. However some things came up and I was not able to call him back. I received a second text message that day that was very passive aggressive. You will see that he didn't appreciate my response and continued to show his true colors.
