And they have a sundae bar... a sundae bar! I'm not a big fan of fast food so the fact that there's a place on campus that utilizes fresh foods is simply a blessing. I wouldn't call the food blow-your-mind, but it's good, filling, and fresh. Options change out regularly and I know they offer breakfast, lunch, and brunch on the weekends (they might also have dinner, but I haven't had the pleasure of checking it out yet). The buffet isn't huge, but there's tons of options and at least a couple of made-to-order choices. I somehow always end up with a plate of potatoes in some form topped with cheese and green onions. Drinks are self-serve and you can choose from sodas, waters (they sometimes have flavored waters), teas, and a few other options depending on the time of day you go. And like I said, they have a sundae bar! Soft serve ice cream with multiple topping choices. How much is all of this you ask? Under $9 and you can sit there as long as you want using up all the wi-fi your heart desires. Nice. 100% recommend when on campus.

Raoul, our server, was attentive, polished, and genuinely pleasant throughout the evening. The kitchen remains one of the very best in El Paso -- frankly far superior to Anson 11, which too often feels overrated and inconsistent. The fresh Ahi Tuna was outstanding. The bone marrow was exquisite in both refinement and flavor, rich and literally melting in my mouth. The Branzino was cooked to perfection. Add a great bottle of Champagne Crystal Roederer Rose with a perfectly balanced French Martini, and the evening became close to flawless. I Mesa Street Grill still knows how to deliver a true dining experience. We will absolutely be back. Tomorrow they have a special Memorial Day Weekend Sunday Brunch that will be for sure very promising!!

We had the entire restaurant to ourselves which made the night feel incredibly intimate and special. The Christmas decor was a beautiful touch and really added to the atmosphere making the evening feel warm and celebratory. Joey our waiter truly went above and beyond and deserves five stars on his own. He made sure every detail was perfect and helped make our anniversary dinner feel extra special. The food was a 10 out of 10. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and do not skip the lobster mac it is a must. We cannot wait to go back.

Their dipping sauce was like no other, light, fresh, spicy but not over powering with hints of lime, chile, fish sauce and rice vinegar. Now it is so watered down that it almost has no taste at all. The spring rolls are mostly rice Noodles and my last order had just one shrimp in the middle. My spring roll fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I also ordered Pad Thai. There were huge chunks of chicken which I needed to cut in order to eat without choking. There were a few small shrimp and no Tofu to be found. They used to top it with green scallions and they were also missing. What was missing most, was flavor. It was barely coated with any sauce so it just tasted like rice noodles. I hate complaining and posting a bad review for what used to be my favorite Thai restaurant, but this is the third time my food was less than appetizing. Last two times I ordered Cashew Chicken, and both times the cashews were so badly burnt that it made the dish inedible. I haven't seen the owner at the restaurant so maybe it's under different management, but I have tried to give it a second and even third chance, but I am done. I will miss the old Singapore Cafe food!

We shared Steak & Fried Shrimp (one filet, one upgraded ribeye), cauliflower mash, sautéed asparagus, Brussels sprouts, a Friday-night fried shrimp special, the Thirty 5ive wedge, Caesar salad, and key lime pie. While the steak temperatures were swapped (filet medium vs. ordered medium-rare, ribeye medium-rare vs. ordered medium), everything was excellent--and the key lime pie absolutely stole the show. Service was warm and attentive: we were seated immediately, the server handled a chowder substitution with care, and the atmosphere struck the right balance of upscale bar and grill with comfortable seating. It's a great anchor for this central El Paso neighborhood. We loved the key lime pie so much we ordered it again from their sister restaurant the next day--sharing it with family visiting our Tía on home hospice. Hearing her say it was "magnificent" made it unforgettable.

Our server, Zeus, was rude and had an attitude throughout most of the meal. He seemed uninterested, short with us, and overall came across like he didn't want to be there. Toward the very end of the night, his demeanor suddenly changed and he tried to be friendly, which felt forced and disingenuous after how we were treated the rest of the time. On such an important night, the service really matters, and this was a big disappointment. Because of this experience, we would not return or recommend this place.
