They have a great starter special $99 for 9 weeks which includes a complimentary uniform. If your child chooses to continue on, however, it gets a little expensive but is soooooooo worth it! The annual dues are $1095, and around $225 for sparring gear. This is for 3 classes per week (2 regular classes, and 1 sparring session). So the annual fee comes out to $7.30 per class. Be warned, though, because they want a commitment from the child and parents alike, they ask for the full amount up front, or you can pay it in 4 installments if you cannot choke down the entire fee at once. I cannot stress enough how much self confidence and self motivation my daughter has gained studying Taekwondo with Master Han and his Black belt teachers. She looks forward to every class, and I look forward to taking her!

As both a parent and an educator, I couldn't be more impressed with Quartz Hill Karate ! My child…read morehas been attending classes here for 3 years , and the transformation in their confidence, discipline, and focus has been incredible. The instructors are not only highly skilled martial artists but also outstanding mentors who truly care about each student's growth--both on and off the mat. From a teacher's perspective, I see firsthand how the lessons learned in class--respect, perseverance, and self-control--carry over into academics and social interactions. My child has become more responsible with homework, listens attentively, and shows greater patience when working through challenges. The environment at Quartz Hill Karate is welcoming, structured, and positive. Whether your child is looking to build self-defense skills, improve focus, or simply gain a sense of community, this is the place to be. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a program that nurtures both physical and personal development!

I am 45 years old and have been learning under Master Quinlan for almost three years. My 8 year old…read moreson and 11 year old daughter also take karate here under Master Quinlan. I have attended other karate establishments, but I have never found anything matching the quality of instruction that I receive here. Master Quinlan teaches practical, useful karate and self-defense and belts are earned, not given. In the last three years, I have seen my kid's confidence in themselves grow tremendously as well as my own, and as a father I am beginning to feel confidence in my children's ability to protect themselves in dangerous situations, even at their age. One of the things I respect most about Master Quinlan is that he holds his students accountable, holds them to high standards, and yet maintains such a good rapport among them. As a high school teacher, I understand the difficulty of being able to maintain both high standards and good relationships, but he does an exceptional job at both. Another thing that I respect about Master Quinlan from the perspective of a teacher, is that, just as a good school teacher differentiates instruction for students with different needs, so does Master Quinlan. I have never seen him refuse any student that wants to learn, but rather meet students where they are with the goal of simply making them better, one step at a time. I would highly recommend Quartz Hill Karate to anyone, young and old.

He joined last year, and since then he's also started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu--and the growth we've seen in him has been incredible. He's much more confident now than when he first started, and seeing him walk into class proud, motivated, and excited is something I'll never take for granted. Because of how positive and welcoming the environment is, my partner and I decided to join the dojo as well. From day one, we felt supported and encouraged. Master Prager is genuinely kind, patient, and amazing with kids. He leads with care and respect, and it truly shows in the students. The other instructors and coaches are just as amazing--always friendly, helpful, and encouraging us every step of the way. One of the most meaningful parts of our experience has been the sense of community. I've made real friendships with other parents as well as with the people in my adult class. We truly share a love for martial arts and a desire to help each other improve, grow, and succeed. That kind of support and connection is rare and incredibly special. The Edge Martial Arts is more than just a dojo--it's a community that builds confidence, discipline, and genuine relationships. We feel lucky to be part of it and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive, uplifting place for themselves or their family.
