The instructors, Master Carly, Eddy, and Ash, are incredibly friendly and kind to the kids. Master Brian is fantastic when it comes to both physical training and teaching life values. He encourages the kids not only to do their best in class but also to do well in school, focus on their grades, and be respectful and responsible individuals. What makes AV Taekwondo even more special is the sense of community. The kids treat each other like teammates, always supportive and encouraging. And the parents? Just as amazing! I have two kids taking lessons at AV TKD for over a year now. They never want to miss any classes and wish they could go every day! There are so many dojos in the AV to select from, but this is absolutely the best because I've done the research. Master Brian not only has the best incentive for beginners (9weeks of lessons and their 1st uniform for $99), but he also works with homeschooled children schedules and VCi funds. Both my children have gained so much with self-growth and make better choices. Like with food choices and "ask" if they can practice their forms and go on a run. I love it! I have observed Master Brian, Masters Eddie and Devin, guide the students in the Taekwondo precepts of courtesy, integrity, respect, self-control, focus, determination, etc. by example throughout each class.
