I found that my son would get home, and immediately plant himself in front of his computer or ipad, and do nothing but watch videos until I got home and had him do his homework. When he was done, back to the screen he would go. EVO provides a great dynamic environment for him to engage with other kids. They help him with his homework, and the TKD program is great for instilling discipline and perseverance. He's made friends, and while he still is a screen junkie, he is able to interact with more kids in a free form environment. It is a bit on the pricey side at $500/mo, but when you break it down to a daily or hourly rate, it's not terrible given the services offered.

He's so patient with my son who is not the most coordinated and he is so encouraging. He encourages my daughter as well who takes to this type of thing much easier. I sat in on atleast 3 other academies in town and noticed that Victorum had by-far the most welcoming staff and students. This might account for the large number of women that train here. Students and staff are have been so helpful throughout or BJJ journey. It's already feeling like family. 2. The professors here actually roll with their students. They are in the trenches with us everyday. And to top it off they are still driving out of town to world class academies on a weekly basis so that they keep their own tool sharp and also so they can always bring us gold nuggets. I'm attempting to get my wife to join and have already invited co-workers and friends. So believe me when I say I would highly recommend this academy to anyone!

We got out of a place where the owner was a crazy, psychotic guy who couldn't even keep a good relationship with his employees so he was short staffed and he was the one giving the classes to the little ones. He pinched one of my kids who was only 4 years at the time and left a big bruise on his right arm. When I confronted him, he got all nasty. I left his place and wrote a bad review on his business. He threatened me and continued to call my husband several times a day so that I would delete the bad review from his page. That guy was definitely mentally unstable. No wonder his business is closed! After doing a more careful research of where to take our kids, we found SoCal Fight Factory. I regret not finding this place before and exposing my kids to danger by taking them with that psychotic brazilian guy in Palmdale on Grand Cypress Ave . SoCal Fight Factory is a safe place for kids. The coaches are Amazing. They all earned our respect and admiration. My kids learned so much from their coaches, specially from Marco. We miss this place so much. Unfortunately, we had to move out of California and we haven't been able to find another place like SoCal Fight Factory. The employees were solely focused on the ones that have "potential", and there were other kids that were black belt and knew less than my niece. My niece just couldn't become a black belt due to financial strain. It really just got weird when they asked for my sister's (my nieces mom) social security number. Why on hell would he need that? Saying he needed her social for their protection. Also he had students collecting payment where the socials are easily visible. This class started off well, but ended up just being entirely about money!

My two young daughters love their coaches and always have fun in class. The coaches are kind and very patient. They don't currently have a team but they're sort of rebuilding that aspect of the gym. Overall it's a wonderful place for kids to gain strength, confidence, and to make friends. We're so happy to have enrolled our kids.
