Where do I even begin? Whew for the last 6 months I have been coming here for PT.. Simon and his staff put me back together like the story of Humpty Dumpty.. my first day I came in and tears, I was in the worst pain of my life.. As soon as I signed the consent for treatment I was seen right away.. it was so embarrassing I'm crying screaming in pain and the whole room is just staring at me.. Simon just ignored it and got to work asap..Even reached out to my doctor about my treatment plan.. A week later I had pain meds and a referral for acupuncture.. I have felt nothing but genuine love comfort support form every single staff member.. its rare u have a team on the same page but here everyone is on the same page paragraph and sentence.. loading you with knowledge .. extending grace kindness and compassion.. Giving a gentle push but at the same time working with you at your pace.. and with a bomb playlist to work out to. Even on the busiest days the service never changes..mostly importantly it's clean they clean each station after use.. there is a private area with curtains if you need privacy.. water fountain and bathroom to use.. mask have to be worn at all times.. my only advice would be to schedule appointments as soon as you know your availability free parking in the back..

I love being the first but don't mind being last either!

Came in today 1/24/2020 for my last visit. Under Alex and Sabrina's tag team approach, my knee is truly bionic! My range of motion has increased by leaps and bounds. I pushed myself to do more, harder and faster than what was expected and required. Like the rest of the staff, Sabrina and Alex always behave like they enjoy what they do and you can tell by their level of passion and patient deliverables. I work in the HR field and I am always flabbergasted by staff who always appear to be happy being at work and giving 100 percent each and every time. The front end staff are very pleasant as well and always go the extra mile. Most importantly, they clean the tables and machines after each patient use. I'm OCD and that helps to calm my insecurities regarding germs and filth. The bathrooms are also very clean and they wash and dry towels onsite. Thank you!!! I'm hoping to need therapy again just to use them again!

Before coming to Pro+Kinetix, I waited longer than I should have--probably a few months. Like a lot…read moreof active people, I thought I could just "run through it" and that it would resolve on its own. The main obstacle was honestly a mix of stubbornness and not wanting to slow down my training. I came in with a sports hernia and ongoing hip flexor issues. At my baseline, I was running about 60 miles a week and playing soccer twice weekly. By the time I sought help, I was down to ~20 miles a week and had completely stopped playing soccer. It was frustrating and honestly a bit concerning given how central activity is to my routine. Before PT, I tried the usual things--rest, stretching, some generic strengthening exercises, and modifying my running--but nothing really addressed the root problem. I'd improve slightly and then regress again. I chose Pro+Kinetix because of their reputation for working with athletes and their focus on performance-based rehab rather than just symptom management. I wanted someone who understood not just how to get me out of pain, but how to get me back to a high level of activity. Working with Dr. Jose Gonzalez Mejia was a game changer. What stood out was the specificity--everything was tailored: targeted strength work, movement pattern corrections, and a very intentional, progressive return-to-load plan. This wasn't a cookie-cutter program. He also did a great job explaining the why behind each exercise, which made it easier to stay consistent and confident in the process. As a patient, the experience was extremely professional and focused. Sessions were efficient, hands-on, and goal-oriented. It felt like a true partnership in getting back to performance, not just passive treatment. The impact has been huge. I'm now back up to ~50 miles per week and have started playing soccer again--something that felt pretty far off when I first came in. More importantly, I feel stronger and more resilient than before the injury, with a much better understanding of how to manage load and prevent recurrence.

I can't recommend Pro+Kinetix Physical Therapy, and specifically Dr. Lorraine, enough. After a hip…read moreinjury, I worked with Dr. Lorraine over 10-15 sessions and saw dramatic improvements in my strength and mobility, ultimately returning to all of my pre-injury athletic hobbies without pain. What sets Pro+Kinetix apart: you get a full hour with your therapist (not the rushed 30-minute sessions I've experienced elsewhere), and you always work with the same person. That consistency made a world of difference. Dr. Lorraine not only built a structured, effective recovery plan, but she genuinely listened to my concerns and gave me the confidence that I'd get back to my normal, and I did. She also sent me home with a toolkit for both ongoing hip strength/mobility maintenance and to manage any future flareups, should they occur. My insurance didn't cover the cost, but I can say without hesitation that it was worth every penny.

Crystal, my physical therapist, was amazing. She spent 30-40 minutes each session assessing my progress, working on what needed attention, and what exercises would be best givien how I was feeling since our last session. She modified my exercises with the physical therapist aides for every session to maximize the areas of need to accelerate my recovery. The physical therapist aides were also great. Each aide provided 1-on-1 attention to walk through each exercise. Many were also working toward getting their own physical therapy degrees. The front desk is one of the most friendly and competent front desks I've come across anywhere. In addition, they also provide a 24/7 full service customer portal with a wide range of online services above the usual invoice payments and insurance details. You could cancel or reschedule your appointments in real time, send messages or ask questions, check your upcoming scheduled appointments, and more. You can also subscribe and sync to your own calendar (Google, Apple, etc.) which will sync new and updated appointment details along with physical therapist name, date and time. There's really no need to call to make changes unless you want to talk with someone. I highly recommend this place if you need quality physical therapy care.

I learned more about my body in one session than anything I've learned from YouTube videos or AI in the past decade. We started the session off by going over my exercise and injury history. Then we went over what exercises I do and Queene chose a few of them that were likely causing me problems given my history. She has great experience and intuition about what's going on with my body. We went through the exercises and her intuition was right every single time. These exercises revealed imbalances between my left and right side that I had no idea about, and Queene helped adjust them with proper form and range of motion. She also added a few more exercises. All of this resulted in my body loosening up, with much better range of motion on my squat, and my lower back felt better after a previous tweak. Then, we did some massage and cupping, which was helpful for figuring out more things that were going on with my body. We finished with foam rolling to help address all of the issues that Queene found. At the end of the session, Queene asked if she could give me a hug. That tells you everything you need to know about the kind of person she is. I left the session impressed by Queene's depth of knowledge and her ability to give thoughtful feedback. Most importantly, her genuine care for others shined through--she took the time to educate me and help my body move better with less risk of injury. Her care for others extended beyond my session. When I was working out with a friend afterward, she took the time to teach him new movements and cues for his sports training. I can't say enough good things about Queene, Joey (the founder), and Progressive Motion as an organization. People there were friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. Fitness is one of the pillars of mental and physical health. Progressive Motion is the place to go to address all of your fitness needs.

I had basically given up and came to believe that I would be living in pain for the rest of my life. Eventually I stopped doing PT and would just pay lip service to the idea of it. It was only after I starting going to Progressive Motion and seeing Bryan Mai, who taught me about properly stacking my hip and ribcage and breathing into a hardened lower abdomen while lifting, along with proper form adjustments during specific movements like deadlifts, squats, etc, that I found that I could actually live life without recurring pain. I am now starting to believe once again that my physiotherapy exercises actually help, and do them consistently. So thanks Bryan and Progressive Motion in making me believe that my PT exercises actually do make a difference!

I am 80 years old, and this past summer, while walking down the stairs, I heard a sudden "pop" in my lower right leg near my heel. It was immediately clear that something had torn. My orthopedist placed me in a walking boot and, once it was removed, prescribed physical therapy. Having previously received treatment at Breakthrough on three occasions, I returned with complete confidence in their care. My physical therapist, Elizabeth Segovia, had also worked with me following a full knee replacement. At that time, I experienced significant difficulty walking longer distances, and my altered gait was beginning to compromise my hip. Her prior treatment was highly successful, and I was pleased to work with her again. Following a thorough evaluation of my recent injury, Elizabeth developed a structured rehabilitation plan beginning with four targeted stretching exercises. She provided both printed instructions and online resources to ensure I could perform the exercises correctly at home. During each session, she carefully observed my technique, offered constructive feedback, and demonstrated proper form. We met twice weekly, and she consistently evaluated my progress, thoughtfully adding new exercises as my strength and balance improved. Over time, my program expanded to include eighteen different exercises addressing strength, flexibility, balance, and overall stability. Elizabeth is exceptionally knowledgeable. She clearly explained which muscles each exercise targeted and the specific goals of every phase of treatment. Her explanations gave me confidence in the process and a deeper understanding of my recovery. In addition to her expertise, she is personable, patient, and encouraging--qualities that made each session both productive and reassuring. The Breakthrough facility itself is bright, clean, and well organized, offering a large gym area as well as private treatment rooms. Each therapy session lasts forty minutes--longer than sessions at some other facilities--and includes an additional ten minutes of icing and/or electrical stimulation, providing a comprehensive fifty-minute appointment. As a result of Elizabeth's expertise and dedication, I have regained strength, balance, and mobility. I am now able to walk long distances, play pickleball, snow ski, and cycle. I am truly grateful for the outstanding care I received and would highly recommend Elizabeth Segovia and Breakthrough Physical Therapy to anyone in need of rehabilitation services.
