Siara is a craftsperson, for sure! After my few sessions with her recently, I did not have to go for any subsequent massage for more than three months!! This has been, hands down, the best-ever treatment I could get. After yesterday's massage-session my finger no longer seems to exhibit those freezing bouts early in the morning, just too good, I almost forgot I had this problem!!! I think the intensity of the massages comes down to the fact that this is a SPORTS massage center, and it is not one of those other kinds of massages. First time ever going something like this. I do several of sports and intensive workouts. I have been having some lower back pain recently and tried to take care of it on my own. Unfortunately it agitated it. They were super helpful in explaining the mechanics of the body and sometimes it may seem to us that because it hurts in a specific area, that's where it should be concentrated, in this case it wasn't that. Having lower back pain came with an intense deep massage in the hips, gluted, thighs, and lower back. I am very happy and satisfied with the services. I feel great! read more

Instead, it comes with outer worldly, freakishly powerful Todd thumbs, elbows and forearms. I've been an endurance athlete competing at the elite level for over 10 years, as a cyclist and competitive runner. Two years ago, while living in Sacramento, I came down with an IT-Band injury. I was working at Fleet Feet Sports Sacramento at the time, and when I asked my co-workers if they had a good recommendation for a sports massage therapist they quickly turned me to Todd. After a few sessions, Todd managed to help get me back out to training at 100%. I continued to see Todd every Wednesday morning for over a year. His knowledge of deep tissue massage and Active Release Therapy is second to none. I've been to dozens of sports massage therapists over the years, and Todd is hands down the best, most elite therapist I've been to. Unlike most massage therapists, Todd seeks out the root of the issue and tends to it in the best way possible. He kept my legs fresh and balanced, and his work greatly improved my recovery process during intense training cycles. I came here because i was having trouble sleeping due to back pain and leg pain. It was like a week i was like that. And i knew i needed something so i did some research and found out about active bodywork and what they do. So i emailed on a on Thursday and they were able to get me in on friday with Sandra. I booked for a deep tissue massage (which I've heard before is really good for the muscles) which i have never had one done before, but with all the pain i have had the past week, i wanted to have anything done that would help. Came to my appointment and met Sandra after she was done with her client. And she was super nice and funny. I told her what i was having problems in and she examined me and knew right awAy what i was talking about!! Which really amazed me. She suggested cupping for my back. (Did not hurt at all actually felt good) and she did warn me that the massage might be a bit painful. Yes my legs did feel it more lol but my back felt really good with the massage. I did make another appointment with her because i know i will need more done to get back to normal lol but the days after i felt really good!!! Like no discomfort at all that i was having before. I've been getting "deep tissue" massages for many years at commercial establishments, and I have been left feeling disappointed and frustrated. I went to Active Bodywork for the first time today. I have been in pain for quite a while and have been told to learn pain management as my shoulder had Impingement and it is what it is. I have had many friends try this treatment and my gym owners use Active Bodywork so I decided what the heck.
