As someone that services cars I took a look to verify and none of it was true. They said the control arms had cracks in the seals, but they were perfectly fine. I checked the rear brakes and they were fine. They were trying to scam $1700 out of a young girl that did not know any better. The estimate was written on a notepad from another company. BE VERY CAREFUL with this company, get a second opinion! I am filing this with the BBB.

He is the most qualified body guy I have ever met, he used to be a Boeing engineer and now runs his own shop. I have some small dents on my fender from a deer encounter and he advised a dent specialist that can work them out rather than a $1500 insurance job! If I could give him 6 stars I would!

The quotes did not separate out the cost of parts from the cost of labor. Their prices were higher than the two other quotes I'd received, but I still got the brakes done there. Customer service at the front desk/on the phone was friendly. They paid for an Uber to bring me back to the shop since their courtesy vehicle wasn't available at that time. When another mechanic reviewed some of the work they recommended, it sounded like they may have been overzealous in their thorough examination/recommendations. For example, the drive belt has the beginnings of a minor crack but it sounds like it's probably not going to be an issue for 20,000 miles. They also asked for a review multiple times after the service. Final answer: They aren't (and don't claim to be) the affordable option, but their service advisors were pleasant and I felt like they didn't try to pressure me into more services once I said no/defer to most recs.

I didn't think that sounded right for a cylinder 4 misfire. Took it to Greenlight garage in Woodburn, they let me know this morning that the only thing they found was that I needed a tune up. I'm getting a tune up, new tires and alignment for $2100 for my grand Jeep cherokee. DON'T go to 808. They will try to make up things to make the repair bills thousands of dollars. After this I do not recommend them. **UPDATE ** After reading Bobs from 808 reply I can honestly say that is not true. I didn't break down or close to breaking down in front of his shop. If that's true, how did I drive it away to another shop to get fixed. My dad called the day before and Bob said to bring it in the next day, still waited 5 days. Come to find out they never diagnosed it and just made up stuff that says needs to be replaced. I drove from Woodburn to Hubbard after picking up my dad, wasn't in any danger of breaking down. AVOID THIS PLACE. I highly recommend Green Light Garage in Woodburn. Honest work at reasonable prices.

We recently purchased this Automotive shop in June of 2026 and have been actively running the front since April of this year. We are working hard to build a solid reputation within the community that reflects our work ethic and values. We understand some of the frustrations people may have experienced in the past and I can assure you things are done differently these days. **You can go look at the most recent reviews on Google and see that everyone who has had an interaction with us (the new ownership) has been happy with their repairs and felt valued as our customers. I am hoping if you are exploring an automotive shop for your automotive repair needs you only look at the current reviews since anything negative no longer reflects what you will experience if you choose to come to Canby Transmission. Unfortunately with Google and Yelp, when you buy an already establish business, you don't get a fresh start on the REVIEW pages, so in order for us to start building *Our Dream* and NEW reputation we hope to receive reviews that reflect the service that we personally have given to you going forward. Thank you for giving us the opportunity of a fair start. We would be honored if you give us the opportunity to earn your trust!
