222-TAXI, 222-TAXI, 222-TAXI, 222-TAXI !!!! Even if you don't have it programmed in your cell, you can remember this number on those nights where you may not end up remembering much else...Action Taxi has always gotten me safely home when I have been in the worst kind of ways...They have gotten me safely home based solely on the slurred verbal instructions of my friends, who stayed behind at the pub (Thanks!), and threw me in the back of the cab, when I was no longer able to communicate, or remain conscious for that matter. My friend lost his wallet inside one of these cabs, and after re-tracing his steps (that he could remember!) almost 24 hours later, a last resort phone call to the Action Taxi dispatch revealed that the cab driver had in fact, turned in the wallet!!!!!!! Turns out his wallet had fallen out inside the cab in the backseat area. All credit cards, debit cards, cash and identification were still safely in place inside the wallet when we went by the Action Taxi office late on a Sunday night to retrieve it!!!!!! WOW!!!!! I mean WOW!!!!! If this doesn't speak glorious volumes to how good, patient, honest and dependable this cab service is, I don't know what else I can tell you. They have all different types and sizes of vehicles in their fleet to suit your transportation needs and they are the big green and yellow cabs!...222-TAXI! read more

Are you looking for a rundown car that may or may not die on you while the taxi is taking you somewhere? Do you enjoy filth, and smelling fecal matter when you get into a cab? Do you like waiting over 30 minutes for them to come pick you up? Do you like being lied to about them being able to take a credit card, and then being yelled at by the cabbie when you don't have cash? How about having the cabbie lie to his office and claim you "skipped paying" even though he was the one who didn't have his card swiper? and then them refusing to send another cab out to you? If any of these things sound like the cab experience you're looking for, call 222-TAXI! If not, call yellow checker. I hope this company closes down. read more

Worst cab company. When the cab got here to pick my up he was blowing his horn like crazy. The dispatcher called me and said he was outside. I'm at the hospital. I told her I was getting an excuse for my job. She said i will tell him. When I got outside he was gone. I called her back she said he told her he called me and I said he had the wrong number. He never called me. They are terrible. read more

I called at 7 am on a Friday morning and needed 30 minutes before the cab picked me up. The dispatcher couldn't tell me when the cab would be here and couldn't provide me with any time frame. Seriously, customer service is so lacking. I called another cab. read more

ONLY giving a 1 star rating simply because there isn't a lower rating!! THIS is by far THE worst ran place. Called for a cab at 1:16 pm. They claimed a cab would be on the way within 30 minutes. Had to call them back not once not twice but 3 more times ONLY for them to have a shitty attitude towards me. HUGE lack of customer service skills to say the very least!!! I called them at 1:16 again at 1:56 and again at 2:37 for a ride to the school by and work by 4:00 now it's 3:10 and they STILL haven't even bothered to show up!! No worries though sad how a cab can come all the way from the other side of shreveport and gets here within 20 minutes of calling me them. Take my advice y'all DON'T waste your time with these people!!!! read more

Worst cab company ever. I called for a taxi 2 and a half hours ago and still now taxi. Now I'm late for work. Thanks for nothing.

Don't ask me how -- but Action Taxi has somehow managed to find the rudest, most insufferable cab drivers ever in the history of transportation. First night in Shreveport, the driver refused to turn down the radio while I was on the phone. (Eventually, I made him stop the car and turn the radio OFF -- much to his dismay.) Second night -- despite the fact I asked the hotel NOT to do so -- they called the same cab company. The driver was disheveled and unorganized and couldn't make change. I got so fed up I wrote a letter to the Marriott voicing my displeasure. To make matters worse -- the cabs are filthy inside and out. I'm sure there are other taxi options in Shreveport ... find one. Or walk. Or pray that Uber finally makes it to the city. read more

I called several hours in advance to schedule a trip to the Airport. When there was no Taxi at the time I requested I called to find out if when it would arrive. I was told "We're trying to find one for you". I asked them to call me back to let me know when the car would arrive, which they agreed to do. No car ever arrived and never got a call back stating they couldn't send a car. I ended up driving to the airport and paying to park my car instead. To top it all off, there was an Action Taxi car sitting in the Taxi line at the airport waiting for a fare when I arrived to check in for my flight. Action Taxi Sucks! Call anyone else. read more

There a good company but never have them take you to Walmart near blanchard. They will being you there but will not pick you up from there it's a nightmare. read more

Wow is what comes to mind. First the car (term used loosely) that picked us up was a faded nasty mess. I was surprised it was still able to move, not to mention the flat out trashed interior. The driver ran two red lights, took corners like an Indy car and driver lit up a smoke as he's driving. Totally unprofessional from phone call to drop off, like I said....wow read more

The only taxi that can get on a military installation and they don't come in time when you need them. I called early and said they needed to be here at a certain time. The time came and went and they haven't even sent one to me. Don't use this if you have somewhere to be quickly. read more

On time, efficient trip. Called day before for 4am pickup. Needed cash as driver was out of refit card swipes

Action Taxi are liars and theives i waited 2 hrs for a cab in the heat of the day i am 61 yrs old we all know that isn't good for a aging grandmother then when i called to see what was taking so long the lady said one is just not in your area which meant she had been lying to me that she hadn't even got me one when i told her i was going to walk nevermind miraculously one was available 5 min away when i got in the cab we saw one just sitting in the parking lot well that's not even the best part i get home got my things out of the cab or so i thought i left a bag she said oh he will bring it back to you after his call in the bag contained coffee and liquid creamer well it all cost me $21 she said there would be a $5 return fee didn't have a problem with that i called at least 6 times still have not gotten my stuff back yet which i am sure the creamer is ruined but nothing so i hope they enjoy the dunkin donuts coffee that i had to replace i have not even had a call from the cab driver like she promised so that's why they are liars and thieves it will be lyft for me frim here on out read more

Do not use Action Taxi! Would not recommend at all! Our taxi was barely running and completely filthy with stained carpets and smelled horrible. I don't even see how this company is in business. Our driver was playing rap music so loud I could barely hold a conversation with my friend. Next time I'm in shreveport I will DEFINITELY find a different taxi service. read more

I wouldnt give any stars but have to so i can write a review. Got picked up at 3 am and was very upset. The driver had long gray hair and beard like Jerry Garcia. I had just been beaten up and needed a ride fast. In my haste I left my small safe with many valuable heirlooms in it. Very noticeable. I immediately contacted cab company but was told nothing had been found and would have to wait til 6 pm when the driver would return. Guess what- nobody evet saw it. The driver is a thief!!!!!! The male dispatcher became rude with me as i called several times and said " THERE IS S STICKER ON THE CAB WHICH STATES WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LEFT IN VEHICLE" But he should realize there is a moral responsibility and HIS DRIVERS ARE THIEVES! WILL NEVER USE ACTION TAXI AGAIN! read more

Please Uber hurry up & make your way to Shreveport/Bossier. Called for a taxi over 2 hours ago & still haven't gotten one. I could have walked to my destination by time Action Taxi takes action. read more

I called Action Taxi after experiencing car trouble at a regular morning hour on the way to the base and had to pull over to the side of the road. After experiencing terrible customer service over the phone, I gave them the address I was near and was told they would try to send someone out. After waiting thirty minutes, I called again, and they said they were sending someone out. I waited another hour and called again, and they said they had not yet sent someone out. I was a five minute drive from the taxi company. Five minutes and 3.2 miles. If it was not raining, I could have walked over there and gotten a taxi myself. In the two hours I spent on the side of the highway, I could have signed up for AAA and gotten someone to come out. If I had the capability, I probably could have fixed the car or built a new one. I ended up having to wake up a friend and have him drive over to pick me up. The professionalism, capability, and customer service of Action Taxi is beyond deplorable. It is an abomination. I have had better taxi experiences on the other side of the planet from people who didn't speak English and whose cars were held together with banana leaves and paperclips. At least they sent out a vehicle. I wouldn't recommend Action Taxi to my worst enemy. I would only recommend Action Taxi to someone who worked at Action Taxi, but they would probably know better than to call. At least have the human decency to say you are too busy or that you're not going to send someone else out just because you don't feel like it. In summation, I would rather walk a half-marathon in Death Valley in Crocs with a Ben Stein audiotape only to wait in line at the DMV with the same rerun of Full House playing than call Action Taxi. If you're thinking about using Action Taxi, I would advise to call a different company instead, bother a friend, or begin walking. You will get there before an Action Taxi will. If you do call, enjoy playing Solitaire or checking Facebook on your phone the rest of the day. TLDR: Action Taxi is an affront to all we hold sacred in this country and as members of the human race. They should be called Inaction Taxi, because they didn't send someone. The only Action they performed was acting poorly like a taxi company. Call someone else. Walking is preferable. read more

Obviously there are days that are busy and there will be a wait on a cab, but they always show up no matter what. I use them every morning and they have a lot of good staff on hand now. read more

So this is the worst taxi I have ever taken. When I called I asked if they could take a credit card and they said yes. When they came to pick me up they were late, didn't have a card swiper and the guy had his girlfriend riding along in the front seat. He also didn't know how to get there even though the taxi company knew where I was going for 24 hours... seriously horrible service. read more

I just came out of the Kroger on Benton road to almost be run down by one of their cabs. It was a lady driver and she was going at least 40 through the main road of the store. Once she passed us she gunned it and you could here here turning onto Benton road gunning her engine again. Had we been closer to the road she would have hit us. When I called they said without a car number there was nothing they could do. Im sorry but I see this lady there a lot parked in the fire zone waiting for people. Im sure they knew who it was. I hope no one uses this company who doesn't seem to care about the safety of those around them. read more

Cab driver was nasty and so smelly at Action Cab... The car was loud and rundown. I could not sit in that filth. Gross!!!

Seriously how bad could a system be? what if dispatchers don't tell the cabs where to go? what if the drivers don't know where anything in the city is? how would you run a taxi service? Poorly. What would you call it? Action Taxi. read more

This taxi service should be avoided for I got into an argument with the owner and was told "to go F*** myself" over work keys. I called I got dropped off at my job walked 20 ft realized keys were still in the cab turn and ran back cab was gone. With out missing a beat I called the service about the situation. Given the distance she may have traveled in 2 mins. she could've easily turned around a gave me my keys in as little as 5 mins. I was told about policies they have and I have to say that's the dumbest policy I ever heard. Eventually I am talking to the big boss and he offers no apology nor does he sound concern for how this played out and I guess just literally had this "F*** this S*** I'm out attitude. So if your looking for a taxi service where even the owner doesn't give a crap about you call 222TAXI otherwise I will gladly walk to and from where I am to where I need to be before this service. read more
