I work with one of the owners of Fit Force bootcamp and for months he had been telling me to go out…read moreand give it a try. I was a sporadic exerciser, only making it to the gym maybe once or twice a week. I cannot stand running in the same place and staring at the same wall wondering, "When on earth will this misery be over?" Also, gym crowds really aren't my style... nothing personal, it just seemed like every gym that I have ever gone to has those who believe that it is a meat market. So, after Stuart telling me a few times that I should give Fit Force a try, I caved in and went. I have loved it ever since. To start; The classes are held outdoors, in a shady area, at a park in Auburn. The classes being outdoors is really nice, especially if you, like me, are cramped inside an office all day. The classes start with a warm up session that gets your heart rate up: (When I went to my first class I swore that the warm up was a full fledged cardio activity... guess I wasn't in top notch shape) After the warm up period, Ashlie introduces you to the circuits for the day. The bootcamp is broken down into different circuits or segments that target the different areas of the body. Sometimes Ashlie incorporates games or team activities, just to mix it up a bit. During the circuits you are constantly moving, so its a great mix of cardio and weight training. All of the classes end with a stretching/cool down period, which is really nice, especially after grueling it out for an hour. The day following a bootcamp I always feel sore, which means that I must have been doing something right. i guarantee that if you come to bootcamp and commit yourself to the exercises and push yourself, you will see results. You will by physically stronger, your body will transform, and you will mentally have so much more energy. On top of all of the benefits, the owners really are just great people. They care, they communicate, and they know what they're doing.

From the owner: We help people get/stay active in a fun and supportive environment. ALL fitness levels are welcome…read moreto our bootcamps!

Red flags!! Red flags!! Red flags!! "After a change of management"…read more My health professionals recommended I join a fitness program to overcome my PTSD, so my husband and I /working professionals/ 35+ years of age started this gym about 6 months back. I've noticed, that when others got in late for a session, they didn't join the class and worked out on their own, so the day I got in late I thought I could do the same and hurried in. I was minding my own business until I asked Cam (the trainer) a question.. and - that was it! He told me, you got in 30 min late so I won't help you which was understandable so I walked away to my corner, because I didn't want to disturb the class either. But then I saw him complaining about me to the Gym Owner "Susan" who then came up FURIOUSLY towards me and started YELLING, in the middle of the gym while the class was in progress - 'that I can't be walking in 30 min late and ask Cam (the trainer) questions ever again'.. and so on.. she went on schooling me for next 10 min and questioned me about things like - "where is my husband", why do I owe her any explanations about my personal life again? Did she want a confirmation that I was singled out so she could berate me further? I was put under so much stress and pressure by watching her monitor me so I couldn't put up the equipment right and there she started to insult me again- "You don't even know this much, you have been coming to the gym for so long you should know at least this by now... And so making further such personal attacks" No one treats their clients this way after I had already apologized to her and had requested that I can do it on my own, so please let me be. I'm still taken aback by this experience and this incident has taken a few days to process, for me to put it together, so I can share my experience with you, for you to know actually what happened with me. There is no place where one should be schooled like a child and with no dignity, especially if you are in the health industry. It's so disappointing to see an elderly woman over 60 years of age, shouldn't you be the one encouraging and not putting down a woman client? I'm confused, shouldn't you be the one acting a bit more professional being the owner? Couldn't you have taken me to the lobby to discuss this rather than create a big drama in the middle of a class and insult me? But I also learned by digging in deeper that this is a new management since Covid so the story kind of makes sense! She has created problems for us in the past about other issues as well - like before joining, she said dogs are welcome, but then later I was told by her to get special permissions from the trainer each time I want to bring my dog in the gym, and this is a SERVICE DOG for my PTSD we are talking about. Why are the clients here not treated with basic equality and basic dignity? She never tried to care or ask why I needed a dog to bring with me, but created problems so I had to avoid bringing my dog. The lady has to deal with her power trip issues and get educated about the basic mannerisms of being a gym owner. Hope, someday she'll know better and learn to maintain her cool! NO ONE is supposed to be treated this way, her actions were DEMEANING and VICIOUS towards me. I would encourage everyone who is facing this behavior to please speak up, stand up, and educate, and don't entertain this nonsense. My husband and I are people of color, and are proud to have been graduated from the Ivy League universities of Cornell and Yale respectively, and run several businesses and own properties around the world, and we have worked hard to achieve our dreams, especially in another country. I feel, the lady not acknowledging and being disrespectful towards us just shows her lack of exposure, experience, and immaturity. I'd not recommend this gym to anyone, especially to People Of Color, who are doing well for themselves, by working hard, away from their homes... I know their struggles and endeavors to thrive against all odds, do not allow discrimination, WATCH OUT for these ones!!!

I highly recommend David with transformation fitness…read more I am very quiet and anxious and doing new things is really hard. I really wanted to gain confidence in a gym setting so I reached out to David. I called and we set up a meeting to discuss goals and expectations at his facility. When I arrived I was so nervous! He was so nice and patient with my axiety and everything went well. I started the sessions and I quickly gained confidence being in a gym environment. Every person that walks through the doors are so nice, supportive and respectful of each other. It is a group setting, but everyone has their own goals. He writes personalized exercises on a whiteboard and works with each person individually. No one is doing the same exercises as anyone else nor do you do the same exercise each visit. David demonstrates the exercise and ensures proper form. He explains what the target areas are and what you should be feeling. He also rotates from person to person to give you time to do your thing but keeps checking on you to make sure everything is going okay. He does include tension releasing techniques/exercise's which is a huge plus if you have tension or pain in any areas. Bonus: He provided two meal plans. All in all, great experience!
