After speaking with someone who stammered a bit when questioned, he was quick to transfer me to the area manager's phone where I left a message. When I attempted to call back, no one answered. I want to know what services are still provided and with what guarantees for what I am paying. I can pull up my original contract and peruse it and see if I can hold them accountable for what terms I originally agreed to pay them to service, but I am not happy nor am I satisfied. I am very pleased with Critter Control. My daughter had squirrels in her attic. We had tried…read moreputting a baited cage in the attic for several weeks, and no results. We only heard the squirrels once, and it was in the wall. I had Cook's Pest Control come and advise us and he told us the feces he found indicated it was a chipmunk, and that we should continue using the cage since they did not have a service to rid us of varmints. I contacted Critter Control. Within 15 minutes they knew it was squirrels, and they found where they were getting into the house. He also told us they were only coming in at night and staying over the screen porch; that's why no one heard them. We tried the cage for a few days, and had no results. I told him I wanted them gone without delay, so he installed something to kill them as they were exiting. Within six days, we had caught six squirrels. He repaired the gaps that a recent contractor had left between the roof and the trim, and we have had no further problems. At my house I had a problem with roof rats in my attic. I had had Cook's look to see how they were getting in, but he had no luck. Critter Control found the multiple entry points in about 30 minutes. I have a complicated roof line, and the sneaky rats had chewed through the shingles in two places where the roofline was hidden. He had to climb on the roof to find the holes. He did so, repaired the holes in a few hours (I had some spare shingles), and I have no other problems. When I had my trim painted recently, the painter pointed out a gap between the roof and the trim that might invite a nasty creature. I called Critter Control and he repaired it without cost.

I'm currently on an extended visit from NYC, and about a month ago, I noticed a very serious ant problem at my mother's home. I had her ask the apartment office to put her on the schedule for their contracted pest control. While I didn't get to meet the technician during that first visit, the results spoke for themselves: the ants were completely gone. Meeting Adam today was a breath of fresh air. He is an incredibly well-mannered, standup guy who took the time to educate me on the specific products he was using to mitigate the ant and roach issues. It's rare to find someone who is both highly effective at their job and so willing to share their knowledge with the customer. If you're looking for reliable service, I cannot recommend this company enough. Do yourself a favor and specifically ask for Adam.

First, last year I added mosquito control and saw no difference in the number of mosquitoes, if anything it was worse. I called to cancel and was told I signed a contract and would have to pay a fee for canceling it. Just the mosquito service not my regular quarterly service. Knowing how I review EVERYTHING I knew that couldn't be true and asked for a copy of the contract. Sure enough I could cancel in the allotted time period without a fee. Instead of agreeing to cancel as I requested I was sent through hoops and had to talk to multiple people that kept trying to convince me to keep the services. I say no, please cancel only to be told someone else would have to call me back. Finally get that taken care of now this... I have my parents move in while my dad undergoes a transplant and advise them that I would like to skip this quarter because my mom has already had them home serviced prior to my dad camping home from the hospital just a couple weeks ago. I was told that I couldn't skip because that would void my pest free guarantee. I tell them I am fine with not having the guarantee and once again the reasons. She advised me to either pay and just have them do the yard THAT WAS JUST DONE or end my services. Thanks but no thanks.
