We expected professional work but ended up with unprofessional work and terrible customer service. Apparently, their son was learning how to drywall on our job, and when that was brought to his attention, it was denied. My wife overheard the conversation between his son and his drywaller, and the drywaller told me that Mark wanted him to teach his son how to drywall. Doesn't sound truthful to me. When they put the fridge back. they didn't connect the water to the fridge for the ice machine. They had to come back and when they connected the water, the guy broke the valve, so we then needed a plumber. Then, it took forever to have them get a cabinet guy to come out to fix the cabinet, but wanted to blame us and say we "didn't let the cabinet guy in." Like we enjoyed looking at unfinished bathroom cabinets in our bedroom. Then, when they do show up, it was to pick up a check, of course. We received a text from his son Blake saying, "my dad is coming to pick up the check," not asking what our schedule was or what would be a good time to come by and do the walk through. Instead, Mark shows up when we had a personal situation arise, and Mark insisted that he get paid. We told him to wait, and his response was hurry up because he "was in a hurry." I could not believe what I was hearing. No apology, no attempt to at least understand our frustration. Buyer beware!

Mark Peel Construction was recommended to me by a general contractor who has been doing work for me…read morefor two years. I needed a small retaining wall built in the front of my house to keep my hillside from erosion , I called Mark he came right out to give me a price which was very fair and started the work the following week. The wall was exactly what I wanted and was completed in a timely matter. After that project I decided I wanted a new driveway Mark's crew did the demo but he sub contracted someone else for the work, but he remained on the job and overseen the entire project from start to finish every day I was informed as what would take place the following day every thing went as planned both crews were polite and arrived on time each and every day. My driveway looks amazing and I do have one more project for Mark as soon as the county figures out what they need to do to correct their problem. I would highly recommend Mark Peel Construction. The morning of the start of the project, Alex came to go over the project with my husband to make sure they were both understanding of the work that was to be done. My husband was concerned about a drain pipe next to where the cement would be poured, and was worried about it being damaged during the dirt removal. After the dirt was removed, Alex ran water down the drain to show us that the pipe was undamaged. He listened to my husband and made sure to pour the cement a couple inches from the drain pipe, so there was no chance of any damage. Alex was also very flexible with scheduling. He was able to reschedule the cement pour day on short notice, so that my husband would be home on that day. Alex and his crew arrived on time, which I appreciate. I've had a lot of work done in the past, and it always upsets me when contractors are late. At the end of each workday, the crew cleaned meticulously to ensure the work area was clear of dirt and debris. Alex and his crew were always respectful of our property. The price was very reasonable, and I had received more than 8 bids. Alex is honest, a good communicator, and his crew are hardworking and punctual. I'd highly recommend giving Alex a call.

That alone speaks volumes about the quality and durability of his workmanship. I recently hired him again for our driveway extension, concrete work, and beautiful stonework on our pillar. Once again, Antonio and his team delivered excellent results. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and craftsmanship are outstanding. Whether you're looking for an affordable option or a more expensive, high-end project, Antonio is willing to work with your needs and budget. One thing I especially appreciate is his flexibility with payment plans, making it easier for homeowners to complete their projects without having to pay everything upfront. One piece of advice: As with any construction project, be mindful of the financial details. Always double-check payment calculations, material costs, deposits, and remaining balances to ensure everything adds up correctly. I recommend having a clear written agreement and keeping track of all payments throughout the project. Overall, Antonio's work speaks for itself. It's not often you find a contractor whose concrete work still holds up after more than a decade. His flexibility with payments, quality craftsmanship, and willingness to accommodate different budgets are greatly appreciated. Thank you, Antonio and your team, for another job well done!
