This is the worst cleaning company I've ever used!!! It was supposed to be a deep clean For a move in. Tbh, I'm not sure that they cleaned at all. I am paralyzed on my left side, and this makes it very difficult to follow the crew or assess the situation until I'm on top of it. Fridge and stove not done. Bathroom tile not done. Baseboards and crown molding not done. Spiderwebs left all over. Blinds and ceiling fans not done. Radiators and in wall air conditioner not done. Shelves and nic nacs not done. Doors and light switches not wiped down. They did return after I complained, but basically just half assed a quick wipe of the blinds and fans. only 11/2 rooms of blinds though. Re-cleaned the bathroom, not any better! When I called again, they didn't return my call! Jae & Jay Cleaning Came over shortly after to give me a free estimate. They were appalled at the job Action maids had done and how they would correct the situation. If I could rate lower than one star, I definitely would! I never write bad reviews, but this warrants it! Do not use this company! Avoid at all costs. They will not clean your house and and try to pass it off as cleaned, then will charge you for a cleaning even if you have pictures as proof that nothing was cleaned. The only recourse you have is to let these dishonest people come back into your home to do the job they didn't do the first time, and make sure they do it and I don't know about you but can you take off work to watch people clean your house? Also in my case I just bought my house and was having it cleaned prior to getting the keys and it was not cleaned so I had to clean it myself just so I could move my things in. I paid over $200 for them to vacuum as that was the only noticeable "cleaning" done in the home due to the vacuum marks. I asked for my money back as the pictures clearly show that nothing had been touched in my house, especially in the places I specifically asked for it to be done (Kitchen, but paid for an entire house cleaning) Since I couldn't recover my money (they refused to give me my money back) I reluctantly asked for them to honor their policy to come back and reclean and they will not even honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Only giving it 1 star because I can't give negative stars. This is basically stealing wish I would have read other reviews before making an appointment. I don't understand how this company is in business based on their incredibly poor service and complete lack of customer service. Moving is stressful enough this was a much unnecessary additional stress that should never have happened and the company should have refunded my money immediately based on the pictures, but they did not want to assume responsibility and will continue to take advantage of anyone that uses their services so I am hoping I can help people avoid going through what I did if nothing else. I hired Action Maids to clean my rental last week, it was about $147.00 for 2 hours, they didn't clean the shelves inside or wipe down the kitchen cupboards, they didn't clean under the vanity in the bathroom and those were the ONLY 2 rooms that I specified that I wanted cleaned. All they did basically is mop & clean the tub, they didn't even scrub clean the toilet or the seat!!!! I also told them that the kitchen would need more that just a wet mop that the grout would need scrubbed and they didn't do that either. Very unhappy with the amount of money that I paid. read more

As a gift, I was given a gift certificate for one hour of general cleaning. I was having a big party at my house, so I figured the day before was the perfect time to use it. I wasn't sure how much could really get done in an hour, so I cleaned my whole house except for the kitchen and bathroom and a few small things like stairs. I was originally told that they would come between 9 and 12, but then they called the day before to bump me to the 12-3:30 spot. When no one had arrived or called by 3:45, I called to make sure they were still coming. I was told that I should see someone "any minute." A few minutes later, the woman I spoke with called back to let me know that they crew had stopped for a break and would be there in 27 minutes, per their GPS. So after a whole day wasted waiting for them, they finally arrived at 4:20. I gave them the check list I had filled our and verbally explained that I wanted a good deep clean of the kitchen; focusing on counters and floors, and the bathroom; focusing on the tub and the floor. 40 minutes later, I came downstairs to find that they had already packed up and written up my receipt. I was confused because I was supposed to get an hour of cleaning, and my floors were not wet, so I knew they hadn't been mopped. I called Action Maids to let them know, but it was a few minutes after 5, so I had to leave a message. I then went into the kitchen to discover that nothing had been cleaned except the kitchen table. I moved the toaster, coffee maker, and bread basket and found crumbs and dirt. Then I pulled the chairs our from under the table and found that the floor hadn't been done at all. I took pictures before I spend the next hour cleaning it myself. I expected that someone would contact me on Monday in response to the message I left, but no one ever returned my call. Not happy. And I *really* hate writing bad reviews for any business, especially one in the service industry. It's even more difficult to criticize someone you've hired to clean your home--I hope this doesn't make me a bad person, but I feel it's important to be honest. Overall: It's an over-priced, half-effort cleaning job I've seen done more thoroughly by an 8 year old. Two ladies showed up at our new home and before we moved anything in, we wanted a thorough cleaning of the home. I got the sheet and marked down I'd like the floors, bathroom, kitchen, cabinets and appliances cleaned. I figured they'd also dust around, you know, pull down visible cobwebs and actually clean what I asked. Nope. I'm not really sure what they did for 3 hours, but I came in and saw one lady wasting her time cleaning blinds we're not even keeping, yet the floors looked untouched. What? The bathrooms were what my Mom used to call "Windex cleaned." This means everything was wiped down with a window cleaner, but nothing was bleached, disinfected, details were forgotten, nothing was scrubbed and there was still dirt and mildew around the faucets. After they left I wiped said dirt and mildew away easily with some bleach cleaner. Same for all the bathrooms. I asked them not to clean out one toilet bowl since the flusher was broken. Apparently that meant just leave the whole bathroom untouched. The wood floors were still dusty, the fridge was still gross in the nooks and crannies. I mean, what in the hell did I pay for?? None of the cabinets were wiped down like I had asked and there were visible (and obvious) cobwebs hanging on the walls. Over $200 later, what do we have to show for it? It honestly felt like I was robbed. The ladies were nice and all, but after further inspection, we were totally duped. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Scheduling started great, I wanted next day service (Saturday) because I was showing my house at 2pm on that Saturday but they were booked, the scheduling employee I spoke to took my info and said she would call if there was a cancellation. Within the next couple hours I received a call. She asked what I wanted, I said I need a top to bottom cleaning of my whole house, I have a showing. She said "so two hours?" I said, "Idk, I need ceiling to floor, 1300 sqft home, 3 beds 2 bath so whatever that is going to take." She said, oh yeah two hours is what you need. So she set me for 10-12 Saturday morning, my showing was at 2 so that worked. The maids arrived asked to go through the home with them, I showed them the house 3 beds, 2 baths, great room, kitchen and laundry room were to be cleaned and I said again "top to bottom!" She said anything important to make sure of, I said "all base boards, windows, blinds, curtains and walls" they said "walls are an additional cost" I said "are base boards windows and blinds additional?" They said "no" I told them to disregard the walls then. I was outside mowing the law when I was told they were done, I was raised to tip for services so I provided them a tip and they went on their way. While straightening up the home shortly after I noticed I paid $180 for a incomplete, half done job. They didn't touch my baseboards in my great room or my kitchen, didn't touch my counter tops, didn't do a thing in my laundry room, didn't clean my front windows lining the door, there was dirt and dust still on the floors of my kitchen. They did not ask me to walk through and make sure everything was good before they left, I had another person here who observed that they spent all their time in the bedrooms and bathrooms which had already been Prep vacuumed and dusted the previous night and hardly no time in main room or kitchen and when there two hours were up they were done and that was that. I called immediately action maids tried to get me to do a redo cleaning for the following Monday which was pointless since my showing was about to happen, I said at this point I want some type of refund. He said he have a manager call me Monday, no one called I called them, they said that there were tools on the counter and I had a time limit. Ummmm there was like a hammer screwdriver and pack of nails, there maids apparently don't know how to work around and or scoot things. The time limit was set by there customer service as adequate for what I told them I wanted. I asked for half back because they did half my house. She said she'd talk to the owner and get back in a day. I heard nothing for a week. Called again and said I was sent a letter denying the refund (I hadn't received yet) because I tipped them, and there were tools on the counter and they met there two hour limit!!!! I told her I will just pursue the BBB then, she transferred me to the owners vmail were I left a message and am waiting on a return! Worst $180 I ever spent on a service! read more

This is my first time I have ever written a review but I just have to share my feelings on this service. I have used several cleaning services and felt very let down. My husband and I work a lot of hours and find it impossible to keep up with kids and pets. I found Action Maids on google and decided to give them a try. They were fantastic. The team they sent were very pleasant and energetic. I felt very comfortable around them and there energy. I let them know what I wanted done and went to work. They went far beyond my expectations. They were a detailed hard working couple of ladies. I would tell every one to call Action Maids. TERRIBLE - THE WORST!! Do not hire this company! We contacted Action Maids to schedule a one-time, special cleaning for several rooms in a house that had been vacant for quite some time. The appointment-setter made notes about our special cleaning needs and confirmed they'd be able to do the job. They did TERRIBLE WORK! They arrived only with an upright vacuum, so couldn't vacuum all of the wood floors, baseboards, window sills, cobwebs, etc. We should have sent them away, but they promised they could clean everything well with rags. They did a terrible job and left lots for us to clean and re-clean. They also lied about the cleaning they did in the bathrooms, telling me that the dirt left was hard water deposit and stains that couldn't be removed. Later, I easily removed all of the dirt/scum with a sponge and Comet. We couldn't rely on them to come back to re-clean because we had family members arriving to stay in the house that night. So, we re-cleaned everything ourselves, working until nearly 3am. Since then, I've talked to a manager about the poor cleaning 4 times and each time was told the company owner, Robert, would be calling me to resolve this. Robert never called. O had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with action maids. I wanted to surprise my husband and have the house cleaned before we had our first child. I went into labor so I wasn't home when they came to clean but my dad went to our house to let them in. When my mom went to the house later that day she was appalled by the cleaning job they did. She wiped her hand on the kitchen counter and her fingers had so much dirt on them, the baseboards were not cleaned, there was still dog hair on the floor, some cob webs in corners of the house, streaks on mirrors, and grime on bathroom counters to name a few things. When I called them to get a refund because they did a horrible job I could t get a call back or returned email for MONTHS! Then I call today and they said they are not issuing a credit and that they sent me a letter. What a joke!
