I was in an absolute panic to get my car key fixed and as quickly as possible. Leshawn and Taylor, at the Murray location, were absolutely incredible to work with. They gave me an honest quote And more then met. The prices are great, after hour service is beyond reasonable. Taylor, the tech who came to help, was fast, friendly, and deserves a gold star for exceptional service. These guys really saved my sanity today and I can't even express how much I appreciate them at times like these. read more

I know they have a sign that says they don't have a magic wand to fix your lock issues but they have always been able to get me taken care of and a fair price and quick. I drive an extra 10min to come here read more

They were very helpful with a complicated key issue. They were able to get me what I needed so that I could have an extra key for my electric bike. read more

Excellent customer service. Plus they actually know what they are doing. I went for a replacement key using a replacement key for the key to copy. The guy inside the store over heard me saying my key was having issues from another store . He immediately says I know what's wrong. Looked up my key code. Examined the key I brought in and noticed it was worn down over time. He Cut me a fresh key on the house to go along with the ones I purchased. The one he cut works like butter no more snags. Awesome service with extreme knowledge read more

Anytime I need some new locks or keys - Action is my go to. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I recently needed some new locks as well as a lock keyed to match and a backup vehicle key. They were quick to help me and get all the things I needed on my list. I sent family there a few days later to get a key made for the original trunk lock on a 1950 Dodge. I highly recommend them anytime you need locks, keys or anything related. read more

My friend was locked out of her house due to a faulty deadbolt. Action Locksmith's employee, Diego, came out on a Sunday evening within 45 minutes. Then, after a few minutes he found out how to get her back into her condo! Diego was friendly and cheerful, thoughtful and kind. I was there with my friend and she was very satisfied with the service Diego provided. read more

Quick and knowledgeable service at a fair price. I had a deadbolt mechanism that had failed. Figured that I'd have to replace everything. Scott said,"No," and sold me just what I needed. And looked more closely than I had at my failed part for an opinion on why it had failed and what simple door adjustment I could make to prevent the same thing from happening again. read more

State they cut automotive keys. Well don't waste your time, and go elsewhere unless want a soft brass key!! All modern car keys are made of steel or other harder alloys to allow for long service life, but these guys won't touch them. Waste of time going here. Went to a local Lowe's and they cut my new key no questions asked. read more

I recently bought a car and needed a second fob. Action was able to get the correct part and get things programmed in my car correctly. Even cleared out rhe previous key history so that no old keys could be used on my car, and all this at the best price out of any of the locksmiths I contacted. read more

These guys are fabulous! Honest, and very nice and knowledgeable. If you don't want to pay for quality workers, call the scammers. And don't cry about the service fee either. Every business has one with an on call service. These guys are really reliable and I will use their services any time!! read more

I brought a key fob remote here for my Infiniti after another local locksmith had charged me and not been able to program it. Ryan was very thorough and when the remote would not program in the normal fashion he did not give up and tried alternative options. The remote did program successfully and I am super happy with his service! Fair and honest prices too! Thank you Action Locksmith! read more

I lost my keys while on vacation on the East Coast AND it was a holiday weekend. I had car keys waiting for me at the parking garage when I landed back in SLC. Action Locksmith is amazing!! read more

Legitimate business, prompt service & friendly. I hope never to need a locksmith again but if I do this is the one I'd call. They were there within 20 minutes and within a couple minutes my car was unlocked. The price was the same as what I was quoted on the phone read more

Avoid this company at ALL COSTS. Extremely rude associates who do NOT value their customers or clientele. I'd rather be locked out than have to rely on this company for assistance. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

Jake with action locksmith was great he came out and got my vehicle unlocked was here in less than an hour unlocked it in less than five minutes and he also made a key for my vehicle while I was here, I hate to be locked out of my vehicle and it's great to have a company we can trust and rely on. read more

Best and friendly service for a reasonable price. Honest and trustworthy locksmiths are a rare breed, but these guys are it!

This guys are pocket rippers.my office got locked with keys inside and all I need was to open it so I called them and confirmed that the price was only $65 if they don't need to drill/complicated.they showed up early than supposed to which was good. he wanted to drill the lock which was going to cost me more than $200 so I said no just let it be than he came up with primers and prime open it which was 5 mins. Work and he told me $165 for his work which would have been $65 so I refused to pay full amount.Technician's attitude was miserable and lucked the door back again and took service charge of $29.99 which I understand I have to pay and left.never ever going to use this company ever better I will break open the door but won't use this ACTION Locksmith's help.. read more

Action is really super awesome! My glove box was jammed and I had a key for it, so I thought that maybe they could help me with it. I don't remember the guy who helped me's name, but I really appreciate him getting it open since I had some documents in there I needed. He opened it and didn't charge me a cent! Got it done in under a minute, too! Great, reliable guys! read more

Excellent!! So friendly and helpful I highly recommended action locksmith they made me 2 spare keys in the matter of minutes. Thank you for making my day guys!! read more

Only had some keys duplicated and they did a great job and even had other key blank options which was nice. Prices were very fair, and they seem very knowledgeable. My only gripe is how they have to stamp all the keys with their name, Action. Also, it would be nice if they were open on Saturday, even if just for half a day. read more

They came on time, they were professional, and they really had a great price. Would use again anytime

There were dozens of results when I did a Google search for locksmiths today, and I feel really lucky that I randomly chose Action to call. The guy who came to unlock my car was there in 20 minutes, and he had my car unlocked in less than 5 minutes. He was very professional, and even kindly said, "I hope your day gets better!" when he left. Also, it was a flat $50 to have my car unlocked (I've paid closer to $80 in the past). I called another company before calling Action, and they said they couldn't help me since I couldn't give them my credit card number over the phone (my card was in my purse IN MY LOCKED CAR!!). Action didn't require a credit card number in order to show up. I hate spending money to get my car unlocked, but if I need this service again I'll call Action! read more

Dan is just great! Couldn't ask for someone more knowledgeable and efficient at his job! I will always use Action for all of my lock and key needs. read more

Awesome job replacing my broken keys! Love military! Guys there are friendly and knowledgeable! My goto place for keys in Salt Lake City.

We have an electronic lock on our laundry room door that was not opening very well. We had another lock company work on it a little over a year ago, but they only partially fixed the problem. So this time I called Action Lock on 3900 South and they sent a technician the same day. The technician's name was Caesar and he did a great job! And we were charged half of what the other locksmith previously charged us! As a result I sent out a notice to our entire organization about the service and price we received from Action. read more

They could have charged me anything they wanted being in a tight spot but they didn't and I appreciate that keep up the good work 5 stars

I was in need of a locksmith this last fall and got stuck with a bad company who took advantage of me....I then called Action and they sent out TJ and he was so helpful, kind, honest and very sharp in his profession. Last night, my niece had her purse stolen and that included her keys. I called her roadside and requested TJ at Action. Although he was not open they sent out a man named David. He was great too. It was late, dark and her car was a mess (ahhh teenagers) and he took care of it quickly and with kindness. I know Action could have charged a whole lot but David kept it reasonable and honest. I am usually a fan of smaller companies but have been very happy with the service that I have received from Action twice in the last few months. THANKS! read more

Wow! Action Locksmith is incredibly fast and polite and knowledgable and reasonably priced. Use them!

These guys are great. I had them rekey a rental of mine recently. They were quick and I feel that their prices were fair.

Do not use these people!!! They can't do the simple job of programming a remote because I didn't buy it from them and then they have a gall to charge me for NOT doing the job. They are crooks in disguise and believe that a sign they put up excuses them from doing the job right read more

Overpriced ! They wanted 45$bucks for cutting a single key! Tried to scam me with their own blank ...they said my blank isn't good enough. ..!! read more
