This company's employees were totally amicable to work with from start to finish of this huge job. They removed the old tiles and replaced the entire roof and rotting soffit areas in just 2 weeks. When night rain covered new Polyglass, they made sure it was thoroughly dry before proceeding. Each day, they thoroughly cleaned up roofing debris dropped on the lawn. Communication with Green Home Roofing employees was ongoing. Each day, I called them and they immediately responded with answers to my questions. That way, I knew what to expect each day regarding the kind of work to be done. I saw the roofers carry on with the work nonstop, despite the very high July temperatures they had to endure. They were courteous and smiled at me whenever I came out of the house. An inspector told me, "They did a great job!" my mom called this company for an estimate on her terrace. they said they would come out Saturday…read more3/21/2026. early morning. my mom had to work and pushed her work later so she can be here when they arrive. they never showed. she called the number and the employee asked what kind of terrace and measurements and all that but my mom told them she doesn't know any of this. they need to come out and get all the measurements in order to get an estimate. the guy told my mom it would be a waste of his time to come out. my mom is in her 60s and is not advance with technology, hence why I'm writing this review for her. she called the owner of the company and left him a message how his employee disrespected her over the phone. the owner apologized and said he would call her once he finds out what happen. call pending still. my mom wasted her time, went into work late and will find another company to do this project in her house. you should thank god you have a job. these type of jobs are word of mouth. i don't recommend.

The supervisor came to give me a quote, assessed everything quickly and professionally and gave me an ok price. On the day of the repair, he brought 3 other people (none of which he knew a name of and none of which spoke a word of English). They were done in than half a day. After my inspection I pointed out about a dozen of badly cut tiles and a slight mess they've left on the roof. He promptly scheduled a follow up, brought one guy and spent another half a day fixing everything to my full satisfaction. Overall, I would have loved to get it done correctly the first time, but ultimately the job was well done without many headaches.

I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, yet the property has been left with serious workmanship and electrical issues. Walls were damaged during construction, electrical circuits continue to trip, paid-for light switches were never installed, kitchen cabinetry that I paid thousands for is defective and visibly misaligned, and newly installed doors are already showing paint failure. These photos reflect just some of the current conditions. Despite this, both the contractor and their attorney are asserting that the job is "complete." This experience has been extremely stressful, disruptive, and disappointing.

The materials showed up Monday, the tear down and placement of the 30lb. paper was Tuesday, inspected on Wednesday then the shingles were placed on Thursday and Friday. We were able to entertain Saturday morning. Less than a week they were done with a majority of the work. They cleaned up everything for us to have out party on Saturday, which was very nice of them. They returned Monday to finish with some touch up painting of the soffit. I was worried because the price was so good to be true, but I can honestly say they were true to their word. I needed 5 sheets of plywood and over a hundred feet of fascia board. I was pleasantly surprised how little all that extra wood cost me. I attached pictures. JP worked with my gas guy who had to replace my stack and he was very accommodating. Anyone can feel free to contact me for a reference. I have nothing negative to say about this roof experience. The "owner kevin" informed me he will cut me a deal and gave me a fair price at first even stated he will "waive" the permit fee. Which in the process of me selling my home i come find out that this company never pulled out a permit to replace my roof. Had to come out thousands out of pocket because of this. I inform kevin of this situation but then he starts playing dumb stating not to pull out a permit. Like who in their right mind would not want their permit for the roof. Another part it this guy's workers stole my 20x30 tarp and not one of those cheap ones. I complained and the guy Kevin replaced it with the most cheapest one you could find on the market. Another issue is despite me informing hi. That my roof is old and to be careful but still managed to make a huge hole in my ceiling and after me complaining about it they did end up patching it up but it did cause damage to my electronics. We got a couple of estimates and Earl Johnston was in the middle. I liked the warranty that the manufacturer offered and having used them in the past made it an easy decision. They have a pamphlet you can look at to select the color of shingles that you would like, in addition to giving you some addresses where they've installed the color so that you can see the color on a house to get a better idea of what it would look like. There was a long delay before the new roof was installed, through no fault of Earl Johnston. The delay was with the city approving the permit. Once the permit was approved, everything went quickly and the new roof was installed within the week. They had a demo crew & installation crew who were good about keeping you informed of what they were going to do. They took TONS of pictures during demo showing you how the tar paper was placed and rotten wood that was being replaced. They covered the lawn with some type of covering so that pretty much all of the debris fell on that rather than all over my mother's yard. They even cleaned up after themselves after the job was done! I'm glad that I don't have to worry about my mother having another roof leak and am very happy with the work that was done.
