I contacted ACT this weekend for an estimate and received a call back the same day. I was able to schedule an appointment for this past Tuesday and they did a great job. I have been in my home since 2008, with a 6 year old born in 2014, and have never had my light carpet cleaned. Needlessness to say the company had their work cut out for them. They did a very good job cleaning my living room and two hallways. They also cleaned my couches and chair in my living room. I am very pleased with the results. The only reason I'm giving them a 4 and not 5 rating is because there are a couple of stains I for sure thought would come out but they weren't able to get out. I would recommend this company and will be using them in the future. read more

Had to give 1 star because 0 isn't an option. Had an appt scheduled for move out day before i had to leave out of state. I waited over 2 hours..NO CALL NO SHOW!!! I sent a text, called 7x with no answer and left a vm..nothing!! Now i have to delay leaving and driving out of state, find a carpet cleaner last minute on a Sunday which didn't happen, and ruined my whole day. In case you didn't know, this is not how you do business! read more

I was in desperate need of a carpet cleaning and I called them about 2 times w/o leaving a vm on the third call I did leave one and got a returned call a few hours later. I spoke to a guy named Alex and told him about my situation, that it was an urgent matter, and then asked for a rough estimate. Alex said that he needed to speak with his partner and would call me or text me back in about 30 min- 1 hour later. Well it's the next day now and he never did call back and that's even after I called again about 3 hours after we hung up and two more times after that AND sending a text. I'm usually pretty chill about stuff like this but the lack of concern and communication really made me upset. Especially bc I was really wanting to use them. Hopefully you can get a better experience out of them, but good luck getting in contact first. read more

I am very happy with ACT Carpet Cleaning. Let me explain first that we wanted to have the carpets cleaned before our new kitten arrived. We were trying to ensure that any pet smells (dander, hair, etc.) from our older cat (that had recently passed away) were removed and we needed our carpets refreshed. My husband called for a quote about a month ago and got a very reasonable quote. We decided we wanted to book the cleaning, but due to some other family issues that arose in the month, we just never got around to booking him...until, we suddenly found there were only 10 days before the new kitten was due to arrive! I frantically called every carpet cleaner I could find in the phone book for quotes and to see who would be available on such short notice. Most didn't answer so I left a lot of voicemails. I needed someone who could specifically come on the weekend (basically 4 days from when I called) and who wasn't completely overpriced. I was pleasantly surprised by ACT, when Alex called me back (within about 20 minutes) and said he could come on Saturday. I didn't tell him that my husband called before because I wanted to see if his pricing remained steady, and sure enough he made the same quote. I booked him and I couldn't be more happy I did. My carpets look great! When I spoke with Alex, he asked if I wanted to add the pre-treatment that helps pull up stubborn stains and even makes the carpet feel soft afterward. I said I did want to add this option. When Alex arrived on Saturday, he arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and confirmed that I wanted the pre-treatment before even starting. (I appreciate it when service providers confirm their services before providing the work, because it prevents surprise charges after the fact.) Anyway, the pre-treatment was definitely worth it. It left my carpets oh-so-soft and fluffy and in most areas the carpet looks brand new. (My little ones have done a number on the carpet in my bedroom and sadly it will never look new, but it looks as good as it can.) Throughout the whole process, Alex was fast and polite. He worked very hard. I have an elliptical machine and a glider that I really wanted to clean around, but couldn't move them into any other rooms (because both are too big to fit through the doorway while assembled. I offered to push them both out of the way and back, but said he would do it. It was so nice of him to do this and really wasn't something I expected him to do. One more thing that really set Alex apart from other cleaners is that he promised to call me when he was about 20 minutes away on the day of service... He did call me exactly 20 minutes before he got to my house. Most places say they will call and then never do, so I am very pleased. I am so happy with how my carpets look and the next time I need them cleaned, the first and only call I will make is to ACT Carpet Cleaning! read more

I have used Act Carpet cleaning maybe 3-4 times. The owner Alex has done our cleaning every time. He Is friendly, fast and efficient and does an excellent Job. The last time I had him clean two of our upholstered chairs. All work was great. He just recently got a new truck/equipment and our carpets were dryer than ever and finished drying very quickly. Underpowered equipment will leave a lot more water and it will take longer to drive. Highly Recommended !!! :) read more

Have used them for quite a while with my home and a lot with our business. And yeah we've put Apple with the unprofessional being late, not making it, rescheduling at the last minute, there's no such thing as good help today people or professional businesses they're falling by the wayside. We've given this company a lot of our business in the last year and this last time around we had two 12 x 15 offices cleaned and A smaller office spot cleaned. The guy that shows up toothpick hanging out of his mouth, wearing a wife beater, unprofessional, and didn't even get the stains out of the carpet. Told me that I could get some stain remover and work on it myself. Wow.! Charge me $130 for 2 1/2 rooms??. Never have we ever paid that especially with the amount of business we give him. Time to look for new carpet cleaning company! read more
