Driving down the western coastline of Puerto Rico we got hungry, so detoured to PR-102 for a jaunt thru Joyuda, known for two miles of local restaurants lining this windy road along the coast. Stopped in Restaurant Acosta because of their specialties in seafood. We're not disappointed. Red snapper and shrimp were freshly caught and perfectly grilled. Mofongo and flan were tasty. Sat outside in the warm Caribbean air with the sound of crashing waves literally just a few feet from the ocean (inside with AC also an option). Delicious hand-crafted adult beverages - just ask the tender for a recommendation. While most of the restaurants on this strip survived Hurricane Marie a handful didn't. So glad Restaurant Acosta did!! You will, too. read more
