Their customer service is awful!! Do not order from them if you expect to be out of town within 3 months of ordering. I had ordered a few doors to test the look, I was unaware that I had to sign for the order and no notice of shipment was sent to me. When UPS left a final notice, none in between, I called and they told me to contact the company. Immediately I emailed and was met by the rudest email back from Dan about not dealing with undeliverable addresses, I get plenty of deliveries to my home, when asking for them to simply contact ups to hold the order where I live for me to get when I get home. Worst experience with a company I've had in a while. read more

Don't expect good customer service or fast delivery. The doors are great however they will take Atleast 4weeks to ship. They seem to allways ship them after being asked for tracking/ shipping date. But still happy for the price. I will definitely use again read more

atrocious customer service, they do not answer their phone and blacklisted my email in their client database. I was unable to place an order through website as it didn't have the button to submit order, only to update the number of doors or continue shopping. when I sent them the screenshot of that requesting help with completing the order, they blacklisted me. I now see that I dodged the bullet after reading all the reviews. read more

Customer service has been atrocious and short. Had to reach out at 5+ weeks to ask the status of my shipment and received an email that said, "will ship out tomorrow". I sent a follow up asking for the tracking info and received an email the next day with literally just the tracking number. These employees are tacky and lazy. Was supposed to RECEIVE the order within 4 weeks and probably won't for 6+. Would have been happy if they had provided an explanation but nothing - Do better people. read more

Horrible customer relations. All four doors warped after being primed and painted as soon as unpackaged. I sent an email to inform them and a photo stating photos were taken after adjustments and that I was a retired general contractor fully capable of hanging and adjusting cabinet doors. I was not asking for replacements or refund as reading reviews I decided it was not worth the fight. I received a nasty email in return stating in capitals NOT warped and preceded to tell me I was wrong, doors were not warped I hadn't adjusted them, etc. even though you could not tell adjustments from photos. I would advise paying a bid more to avoid his customer service. read more

DONT DO IT THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST. It's so hard to give even one star for this horrible company that provides no communication, no status, and threatens when you ask for information. Here's the email I just got because I disputed my card company charge due to lack of communication as well as failure to deliver at their promised 2-4 week delivery guarantee. "Thank you for trying to steal product. You will need to contact UPS immediately and return the stolen goods to us on Monday Aug 20th, before we proceed with further action. We will need immediate shipment confirmation on Monday Aug 20th --- Gerald Minzer Legal Team Director" Gerald Minzer is not an attorney, and probably not a real name. I left several voice mails asking for status. All were unanswered. The goods were not shipped until I threatened to cancel my order. They said "no cancellations" and your order already shipped. I asked for tracking info and got this response: "A Permanent Ban has also been issued" GOOD. because I'll never shop here again. The tracking info from ups indicated the shipment was sent AFTER my email. I know it seems too good to be true. Guess what? That's because it is. read more

this has to be the worst experience i have ever had with any supplier. it took four months to get the order completed. two sets of doors had to be returned because of damages. paint did not match. pay attention to all these reviews don't make the mistake that i made if it's too good to be true then it's too good to be true pay the money and get something at least decent! read more

We have not received our product ordered on 9/21. It is well past the time frame their company website states. I also emailed for an update on my order (which is only two doors) and not a huge order(thank goodness) and we were told it shipped 10/22, and we have not received it yet. Don't order from this scam of a company. I wish I would have read everyone else's reviews prior to ordering from them. read more

After reading some pretty bad reviews, I was very skeptical of this company, but since it was a small order and the price was unbeatable, I decided to take a chance. I received the complete order yesterday and all was perfect! The doors were to my exact dimensions and made with good wood, and they were packed very well. I have to admit it is very scary that it is not possible to speak to someone on the phone, however, Dan was very responsive via email. I placed my order on December 1, and received it in Miami on January 22. Not the 2 to 4 weeks advertised but the X-mas holidays might have been a factor? I think this southern California company takes online orders and has the doors made in Mexico, and they just distribute. I was very satisfied with the product this company delivered and would use them again. Just be flexible on delivery date. read more

I ordered replacement cabinet doors without first checking reviews online. The online form for customization was easy to use and directions on measuring straight forward. Price was good also. The website said the doors would ship within 2-4 weeks. They shipped right at the 4 week mark. There were in perfect condition and built exactly to spec. One improvement I would suggest would be sending out order status updates and the shipping confirmation number. I wouldn't have known that they were shipping on a certain date if I hadn't emailed to check the status of the order. I also didn't know they were arriving yesterday until I got home and they were on the porch since I didn't have a shipping confirmation number. read more

The company sent two replacement doors, one of them warped and damaged, see the pics. The size is off by 1/8 of an inch too. I will not be looking for more replacements from Acme Cabinet Doors. My experience working with the company was awful. read more

I wish I had Yelp'ed them before I placed an order. They do not respond to questions, they do not give any information as to actual ship dates and they most definitely do not deliver the order in the "2-4 weeks" quoted on their website. If they even are a legitimate company (I'm not so sure) they really need to figure out how to do customer service. First lesson, when someone contacts you, respond. Not that hard, is it? Big clue - if a company won't put their phone number on their website, run. These guys? Run. read more

SCAM website, SCAM company. We ordered on Feb 04 and order was to arrive in 2-4 weeks. After 4-weeks we contacted and they said ships in 2 days. After no shipping notice or arrival, contact again and they say it shipped already. After another week, we told them we had received no shipping notice, we saw no packages in transit from USPS, FEDEX, or UPS and want a tracking number immediately. They said they felt like they were being harassed and were cancelling our order and issuing a refund (AKA. admitting that after 7 weeks not only had they not yet shipped but they had been lying to us all along about it having already shipped). read more

Not as long as a wait as most other reviews but definitely would not order again. They would give shipping/arrival dates and still no product. They are not very honest in their shipping practices. Finally got a ups tracking number, let's just hope that I get my order in. Would not recommend this company. read more

I was quoted 2-4 weeks on 20 or so doors. Only after constant contact on my end did I receive a first portion of my product after 12 weeks. After 93 days I still haven't received a call back. I ordered cabinet doors and hinges on December 26. Paid the invoice the following day. After 4 weeks I gave them a call. No response. Numerous phone calls followed by emails I finally received a tracking number on Mar. 4 for what was actually half of my order which I received on Mar. 11. The order was missing a few doors and all the hinges I'd ordered, rendering the whole shipment obsolete. At this point a few phone calls later I inquired about a refund for the items I hadn't received. I was told they don't do refunds and that the 2nd part of the shipment was coming soon. This was the first time I'd heard about a second shipment. Still, a few calls and emails later I got what I thought was a final tracking number. I was told I'd receive my hinges and final doors on Mar. 26, a full 3 months after my original order. However, it ended up just being 2 more doors without the hinges. I've called them at least 15 times and never received a call back. Only after emailing and calling would I receive a curt email back. When asking for a refund I received verbiage that stated simply "Please see your invoice." According to my invoice I was quoted 2-4 weeks. After filing a complaint with the BBB I was sent an email with a final tracking number for hinges. I then received a few other emails threatening legal action if I didn't close my BBB complaints. I will never do business with this company again. read more

I would not do business with this company again. Horrible to deal with. Threatened me with legal action (?) for posting comments here on Yelp even though it was the truth. Not very nice people who strong-arm customers. read more

Literally made my account just for this. I've remodeled several kitchens in the past decade and I decided to save some money by going through a new supplier. I contacted the sales department in regards to the negative reviews and asked what they were doing differently with future customers to avoid these problems (as I might be using the company more than once). Dan replied saying "If you have reservations, shop elsewhere," and then blocked my email. I'll take his advice. read more

Avoid this company at all costs. Ordered two small doors and had to initiate a credit card charge back to get them to ship them. They kept promising me that they would be delivered "by monday, by wed, by fri" but would never send a tracking number (because they'd never shipped them). I emailed and told them I was cancelling the charges on my credit card at the end of the day 8/19. They replied "DO NOT THREATEN US" and nothing further. 8/24 the items showed up with an 8/20 ship date. I should have just returned the shipment to sender and continue with my dispute but I kept the doors and am cancelling the dispute. read more

!!! Use Another Company !!! Nobody responded to two emails regarding status until I got mad in a third. Dan at Acme Cabinet Doors got mad back! LOL. His middle of the night angry response also stated they would ship the following Monday. When they hadn't arrived by the weekend, nor had I received a shipping update, I filed a complaint with the BBB in CA. They doors ended up arriving the following Monday and I cancelled the complaint. It all worked out, but it was sure unpleasant. Im sure there are other cabinet door manufactures that respect their customers. I see they've threatened other commenters here, so bring it on Danny boy! read more

On May 18th we placed an order for 13 MDF Shaker doors without any priming or pre-drilling for hinges. The delivery window offered was 4 to 6 weeks. Once we placed the oder there was complete silence from ACME. At 3 weeks we called for an update and were told to write. We wrote and received an email from Dan Miller saying the doors would ship from CA on June 16th - presuming ground transportation - we expected the doors around the June 21st. Nothing arrived. We wrote again this time asking for a carrier and tracking number. Dan said the doors would arrive on June 29th. Tonight (June 29th) I wrote Dan once again asking for an update, a tracking number, and a shipping company. I also said that he could not provide those and ensure the doors be here by Wednesday, I would prefer a refund. I just got an email from Dan saying, "Refunded. Good Luck." This of course leaves me with only one conclusion ACME is a scam. ACME is a sham of a company that cannot deliver on its commitments and will lead the customer on as long as the customer will let them. We are set to move 9 days from today. I have tenants coming into our house and we are now left scrambling for new doors for our cabinets. DO NOT SHOP FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM. read more

Wish I had checked yelp first. Same story as all others leaving low star reviews. Ordered a custom door, waited a month, tried to contact them various ways. Company finally sent a generic "we shipped it" email. Waited a couple more weeks. I checked yelp and realized I wasn't going to get my door. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and do not expect/want any further communication with this company! read more

ACME cabinet doors are an absolute sham. The sales rep Eric is a total con Eric tells you they shipped and what day you will get the doors but they never come. They tell you 2 to 4 weeks but 8 weeks later I have still not received my doors. Please know that you have rights and you can dispute the charges with your credit card company. Also even know this company is not part of the Better Business Bureau you can still file a complaint with them. BUYER BEWARE read more

ZERO STARS DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY This is a scam. It seems to me that they float their business with their customers cash. I ordered product and was quoted a 2 -4 week lead time. Told twice that the product had shipped and when I asked for tracking information - CRICKETS. After two month and a lot of frustration I asked for a refund and got a rude email back saying I agreed to their terms and no refund would be given. Nowhere in the terms does it say you have to pay for product you didn't receive. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! read more

It took awhile to get the doors but for the price it cant be beat. I am super thrilled to be able to redo my kitchen at such a low price. The doors are a really nice update. I had no problem with customer service and was kept informed when I inquired about a shipment date. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. I would definitely purchase doors from them again. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! If Yelp would allow 0 Stars thats what I would have given!!! They are AWFUL! Their website states that cabinets can take 2-4 weeks before shipping out, which I understand can vary based on the project but they NEVER update you on the order. You CANT talk to a live person. When I asked about the order they said its due to Ship on a certain day, that day rolls around and nothing.. no email showing it ships or tracking number. You send another email and after several days you get a response showing it will be delivered by a certain time but NO TRACKING is provided. Then your order doesn't show up and you write them AGAIN! They keep giving new arrival dates which is a LOAD OF SHIT! So I write to say that if I can't get an update on my order or a tracking number to verify that this is a legit company that I would report as Fraud.. THAT GOT THEIR ATTENTION! I got an immediate response telling me our order is terminated and they were issuing an immediate refund! THANK THE LORD! BUT ILL TELL YOU, with them terminating the order and giving us back our money in a 3 day period after months.. that clearly tells me my order was NEVER shipped and I'm pretty positive that my order was NEVER STARTED OR COMPLETED! What kind of LEGIT company would terminate an already completed and "supposedly" shipped product???????? NONE! DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS PLACE. AND PLEASE, UNLIKE WE DID, READ THE REVIEWS. Not a single good one on there!!! read more

We received all doors from Acme Cabinet Doors. The quality of the doors is impecable. We had issues with shipment as they arrived a few weeks late and would have hoped they came with a bill of laden in only one shipment. The total order was for 50 doors and cabinet fronts. The items came in small packages in various shipments with no bill of laden. We recommend their work with a lot of margin in the schedule to make sure you do not have to dismiss the contractors for lack of product to work read more

Like other reviews here I found that they do not respond with factual information. They lied to me 4 times saying my product had shipped with delivery dates of 2/1, then 2/3 then we will check on it and then no date given! Only after I informed them that I was going to dispute the charge on my credit card did it magically ship that day! The fact that you can't actually talk to a person and have to wait for them to get around to emailing you back is a terrible way to service your customers! I surely hope that the order actually arrives in good condition and is made correctly because I know there is no way I will get any support from them if it is not. Please stay away from this company! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. 4 week delivery time more like 7 weeks. Communication and delivery date inaccurate info. Very rude unprofessional Production Mgr Dan - reporting to all bureaus at this time. Small claims and legal remedies will have to be pursued. read more

Absolutely terrible. Went 4 weeks over the claimed 2 to 4 week "arrival time" and the response I received from the production sales manager when I asked him about it and accused them of false advertising: "no its not read the terms you agreed to during the purchase have an nice day" So unprofessional. Will never use again. read more

As far as quality goes, I dont have any complaints, product was as advertised. Shipping was also very well packaged, better than expected actually. Only complaints echos most others regarding timeline. The website mentions 4-6 weeks, I ordered 4/24 and received them 7/23. I sent 2 follow up emails on between and was given 2 different dates for shipment and when they would he received, both were not true at all. I dont particularly care as it was a home project, but if even small jobs are to take that long, then lead times need to be changed on the company website. read more

I have never been compelled to write a Yelp review until now. Avoid Acme Cabinet Doors at all costs. I placed an order with them and paid my invoice immediately. When my cabinet doors did not arrive within the 2-4 week timeframe they noted I contacted them for an update - I received no response. I made several other attempts to contact them, by phone and email, and heard nothing back. Their lack of customer service and follow through give small businesses a bad name! read more

I ordered cabinet doors in May 2018. I hadn't received them by June 15, so I sent an email. Dan Miller the Production Sales Manager emailed me stating that they would be shipped on June 18, 2018. On Tuesday I emailed him again to ask if they had been shipped and for a tracking number. I did not receive a reply. I emailed him again on Wednesday, June 20 requesting the same information and added that if I did not get a response I would be disputing the charge. He replied within minutes "Don't bother we are terminating this shipment and have refunded your order. Go threaten another company." Unbelievable. NEVER use this company. Obviously they never shipped anything out on Monday. So UNPROFESSIONAL. read more

If you have plenty of time to wait for these doors, they are as advertised. We owned a cabinet shop for years and always communicated with our customers on progress and shipping information. If production was slow a quick email notification was sent. Never had complaints. Acme only responds when notified by the customer, not the other way around, which is a poor business practice. We have two more large kitchen's coming up and decided to test this company to see if we might use them for those jobs. We ordered 4 doors as a test. Ordered on October 1, 2017. After sending two emails, requesting a tracking number, we finally received the tracking number on November 20, 2017, and the doors arrived November 21,2017. We will not use this company again and do not recommend them. read more

This review is actually ZERO stars... I ordered two doors in late August. I emailed early October and received an email saying the doors would be sent October 5. That seemed reasonable so around the 10th I expected to see them and asked for a tracking number. There was no response. After 3 emails, I contacted PayPal to get involved. They weren't able to get in touch with them either and I was refunded mid-November. You would have thought they were sucked off the earth as there was no contact after the first email. I placed an order on acmecabinetdoors.com because they were nearly half the cost of other cabinet doors I had researched, and they had the exact doors I needed for a kitchen remodel. As soon as the order was placed, I dug a little deeper to find these negative reveiws. I was concerned I had bought myself into a world of headaches. Surprisingly, every expectation I had was met. From the product quality to service, acme fulfilled what I would expect to get for the price paid. Even when I contacted them saying I had to quickly replace one door due to my own error. I received the replacement door the next day after ordering it. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is that there is no way to contact them by phone or even get a call back. I can say that most of my emails to them were answered promptly. If they can fix this issue like they seem to have done with the rest of the operation, I would likely do business with them again. read more

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered painted doors from them. It took over 2 months to finally get my order. I would email to get a status of my order and would wait a week with no response. I finally got to the point where I had to contact my credit card company to consider filing a claim. I notified acme of my plans and received an email right away. They then shipped half my order (without even telling me it was just half). Then 2 weeks later (after more emails with very little response I got the second half. The shipping plastic wrap stuck to the paint . The custom color I choose does not match the paint sample from Sherwin Williams at all. so I have to spend more time, money to get them repainted. The homeowner I was doing this for was very upset. That is past the 2-4 weeks promised on the order, but I guess I should just be happy they intend to ship them. I can't for the life of me understand how a company like this stays in business.
