I made the phone call at 9AM. After one mistake I made, I signed the second contract to bail a friend out at 7:15PM. The Bail was Posted at 10:03PM. The inmate was released at 3:10AM in Lynnwood, next to Compton. Autumn was the first to say she was calling every 30 minutes to get the file expedited to be able to post bail. I called the Bail around 4PM to get another phone number to call the Detention Center. I was suggested not to call and make things worse. I did anyway. I reached the supervising Officer Mendoza and provided her with the inmate number. She said she would call the office to see if they can push the paperwork since bail is standing by. About five minutes later, the information was updated. After I signed the second contract, and the bail was posted, I called Officer Mendoza back to ask if there was a cutoff time to release females and she said not past 11PM. Her words could have her killed. There is no person to hold accountable for the lack of effort in the Jail system. Let them all be removed from the food chain. read more

Tom, Jaime and Angela were amazing! They saved me from disaster. I am from out of state. I was accused of something I did not do. I traveled to California in good faith to talk to the DA but they proceeded to handcuff me and throw me in jail. Then they told me if I pled to a felony they'd let me out of jail. But I am a professional with a PhD and the sole support for my kids (single parent). I would lose my job and career if I had a felony. It was not even a possibility. But if not for Tom I'd have been forced to plead to something I did not do and I would have lost my career.
