Their fee for services is 15% of the settlement total. Once the insurance company provided us with the settlement total to complete the plumbing water damage repairs and provided their payment towards repairs HOPE was paid their fee. They paid the restoration company their fee and provided a new check to us to begin the process. NEVER once did any associate reach out to us to tell us what they were able to accomplish with the insurance company. NEVER once did they reach out to see if we understood the calculations and expectations for the repair. NEVER once did they reach out to see if we were doing alright through the trying time. As the completion process neared, I reached out to ask about the "recoverable depreciation " portion and what I needed to do. 3 days later, the associate who came out to our house called and left a voicemail at 5pm on a Friday to say he was no longer with the company and I would have to reach out to the company. I did reach out and NEVER heard a thing back. The middle of the next week came so I called the Insurance adjustor directly and asked my questions. The HOPE owner was cc'd on email correspondence going through this recovery process and saw my comments on the lack of professional and supportive I'd received from HOPE. Days, passed and after approximately 12 days I received word HOPE had received my "recoverable depreciation " check. It was mailed to me and received the following week. Last Saturday night at 7pm, I answered a unknown call and it was the owner who said he was sorry for the delay but he had been busy. He asked me about my issues with their services and I began with the timetable for pressuring us to sign moments before the insurance company adjustors arrival, transitioned to the unknown value of what they were able to accomplish for me. I ASKED HIM DIRECTLY WHAT THEY DID FOR OUR CLAIM AND HIS REPLY WAS HE DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO SHOW THE VALUE!!! When he asked "what are you looking for?" I stated that I wanted to hear what he was going to do moving forward with his dealings with Restoration One and asked him to think about what he thought was the right thing to do with us on how their company handled the work with us. I NEVER told him that I wanted a full refund or I'd share my experience through reviews and left it up to him to determine what he thought was appropriate. I asked that he take a day to think about it and call me Monday. Monday night at 8:30 I texted him to say I hadn't heard from him so I would decide what I would do in the morning. Minutes later, my phone rang and he said he was so busy and didn't want to call so late. He began the conversation saying that we signed the contract and as business they provided their services so he was a business owner...or some sort of explanation, I had already checked out as it was clear he had ZERO INTENTION OF DOING ANYTHING TO SOFTEN THE SITUATION . Look elsewhere and if you do have to go through this type of process, HOPE is a good name, hope they help but no way to know. Hope and a prayer for sure!

He was able to take a less than fun situation and turn it into a palatable experience. By 8:30am Corbin and crew were already at our house with diagnostic equipment and a water damage mitigation plan. He was extremely patient to explain the whole process, start to finish, and even helped us understand the steps to filing an insurance claim. His team worked weekend days to get the work done quickly, and 4 days after we woke up to a kitchen waterfall we were all dry again. Of course, parts of our kitchen had to be removed and demolished to get all the air-moving equipment access to dry out the walls, but even the contractors coming to patch everything back up were impressed with how careful the Restorex team was to only demolish what was necessary to carry out their mitigation plans. So happy we found Restorex when we were up a creek without a paddle!

After somewhat finishing the initial clean up of the basement flood, they (Drew) gave several good talks about how he was going to help us fast in the process of getting our basement back to new since we were good people, blah blah blah. That NEVER happened. We would call/text him on when we could get started on the remodel started and either he would not get back to us or it would take several days, he was out of town etc. Finally, came out after well over a month of the basement flood and said he was so busy he would be up most of the night doing computer work and would get our final estimate and would send it to us that night or next day, well we NEVER received it, nor did they EVER get back to us until 6 weeks later when they wanted their money for the water restoration!! Needless to say we would NEVER recommend this company for any services, very unprofessional and work is lacking any type of urgency until they wanted their money. Also, left 2 pumps at our house and a dehumidifier that the company didn't even know they had left at our home for weeks. They definitely need to do better!! Sincerely a very unhappy customer.

Stan Wilson the owner is nothing but a fraud and thief. he takes marbles in sock to all soft metal…read more bends shingles to simulate wind damage. also rips shingles up. tarps roofs that don't need. creates water damage inside home to gut interior floor drywall cabinets ext for insurance claims. he gets down payments and doesn't complete projects leaving customers without finished home for months on end doesn't pay his employees. he lied to a pastor and said there was mold in entire roof and re moved all decking and insulation for no reason costing the churches fellowship huge money. and then didn't complete the job. At least 10 different jobs he didn't complete and got paid all in one years time he deserves to be in jail for insurance fraud. Do not use Elite Restoration located at 45 main st on Southport and Madison behind longs donuts.
