I requested that someone schedule via text so that I can schedule the consultation for when my husband is able to talk, since I'm not. The response I got, over and over and over, was that they're not able to text me to schedule. This is a pretty reasonable request. They're able to respond in real time (via text - we were already texting) but not schedule? Absurd. The alternative was to tell me to come into the office. Again, I'm DISABLED. I can't come in. I can't talk. It should not be difficult to put me on your calendar via text for when my husband is available. Discriminatory. They will not work with you. If they can't even do something as basic as have a conversation about scheduling via text, they're certainly not going to go to bat for you with anything else. It was only after I told them this was discrimination and threatened to file a lawsuit that they were suddenly capable of scheduling via text. But I don't think I will go with them. It was already difficult enough to just get a basic accommodation that I have no faith they'll stand up for me. And they'll likely respond to this with some offer to assist to make themselves look better, but I've tried to work with them for over a month now. That's not gonna change because of a review.
