bogus invoice charges! Charged for a gallon of gas when i personally filled the machine to capacity before bringing it back ( experienced renter). Over charged credit card fee by 100%, which violated CC company rules. Hate a copmany that tries hiding behind the computerized system and it's a waste of my time to go back and argue about something that should not have happened. I rented one of their new, ride-in Stinger aerators from Lawrence Tool Rental. I have nearly 4 acres at my property it was moving in a circular pattern after I made my entire first pass on my yard. I looked in the aerator and taken enormous chunks out of my yard. Unfortunately, when I finally noticed the mess, the damage was done. Because Lawrence Rental was closed at the time I noticed the damaging. I decided to wait until the next day to return the machine. Knowing the machine had to be cleaned, I took the back off of the aerator and noticed one full size sprinkler and a pop-up sprinkler head were stuck in the tines of the aerator. I was stunned! Lawrence Tool Rental loaned me an aerator that they had not clean or inspected before renting it out!! When I returned the next day to speak to the owner, he didn't feel like it was a very big deal at all. I showed him the pictures of my damage lawn, and his response was, "why did you keep aerating then", not "I'm really sorry this happened. Let me reimburse you for the rental and give you a free rental after I get the machine repaired and cleaned. I'll also any damages to your lawn." read more

Dropped off my power washer because it wouldn't start. Already had clean gas, new spark plug and clean air filter. They said they would diagnose ($65 paid) & call to let me know & to get authorization to repair. 1 week later I call them because I had not heard from them and Nick states that it is done. We went back and forth about no one calling. Nick kept stating he did, but I have no history of a call, no voice message & he never spoke to me. Nick stated they put on a new carburetor and the bill was $48 for the part and $65ish for the hour of labor. Went to pick up the power washer and Nick said again that they put on a new carburetor and it should run. I said what do you mean by should run to which Nick said, "Well, I didn't work on it,but I'll go start it to make sure." 15 minutes later there were 5 guys surrounding my power washer and it would start but not run off choke. Nick finally came back and one of the workers who told me he believes it won't run because the fuel line is clogged and stated he did clean it but he thinks it needs to be cleaned again. I took the PW home...it was leaking gas. All of the carburetor bolts were loose and therefore gas was leaking. The fuel line was clean, but the spark plug was black (not how it was given to them). The carburetor that Lawrence Tool was trying to bill me for was not new, it was in fact my original carburetor they had just cleaned. I knew it wasn't new because it had oxidation on it. I was livid. I was told no less that 4x this was a new carburetor and they were trying bill me for that! I called and Nock was irritated saying he would ask who worked on it...came back on the phone to tell me it was just cleaned and not new. He said he has "never been spoke to like this" and I was like so you lied to me and I'm not allowed to be mad?? He said he misspoke. How was the bill showing new carburetor if it was only 1 hrs labor? I got a refund for the $65 diagnostic fee and did not pay for anything else. This was clearly a scam. Even the tag on the PW stated "clean carburetor". I assume the employee did the clean and labeled it as such and Nick marked it up as new. This is disgusting behavior. Wont ever be back. I rented a dingo and the representative treated me like i was some broke kid that couldn't figure anything out. The machine was junk, too small to even move less than a 2 yards of pulverized dry topsoil, ended up having to finish the job by hand. When i asked if they had a bigger machine they asked me if i could even afford $300. read more

Won't be back. I wanted to rent an orbital sander for hardwood floors, and they told my wife they didn't have those, but rented her a drum sander. Part of the problem, I admit, was my fault for not being the person to go there and see what they were giving my wife. Just happened that is was on her way home from work and I wasn't off work yet. With that said, anyone who knows sanders would know this drum sander is very difficult to handle and work with. Also, it turns out they lied. They did have an orbital sander, but it was broke and being fixed. They probably just wanted to rent something. It was late on a Friday that I planned to do the floor. I should have waited and taken it back Saturday, but I thought I would give it a try since I had it all planned out. Bad mistake. Messed up my floors pretty bad. Again, this prob my fault. Should have just rescheduled my time to do this project and take the sander back. So I lost the $164 they charged me for that sander, lost a Friday and Saturday night working on this, and also will have to pay more to fix the issue solely because they just couldn't say, "we don't have an orbital sander right now. Sorry. " Again, I also give myself 1 star because I foresaw this and still tried to make it work. just a terrible inconvenience. And costly read more
