I was told that my drill is obsolete and my drill can't be repaired. he told me I need to replace it by buying a new one. I left Ace Tool and called Makita. I was actually headed to the big box store when I drove by this store . I was in search of a drill. I stopped in because I wanted to avoid the hassle of going to a big box retailer, which would mean parking, crossing the parking lot, and worrying about potential tire damage. As I was passing by, I thought, why not give this place a shot? It turned out to be a convenient choice! I ended up purchasing a drill that I absolutely love. My only suggestion for anyone selling tools would be to ask customers if they need drill bits to go with their new drill. Other than that, the service was outstanding. A part for a Safety saw should not take 4 weeks to arrive when 4 day shipping was paid for. I received no explanation, apology, or compensation for the delays. Since our SawStop was down, we were forced to use the non Safe saw for 4 weeks. I had a student get injured and required 8 stitches because of ACE Tool lack of attention. I had to email back after 5 days and ask where is my part, Toni replied with, "Want me to cancel your order?" 3 weeks later I asked again and was finally given a tracking number, I emailed again the next day and asked when ACE tool was taking it to UPS. really read more

Beware of double-charges on their website! I placed an order after entering my credit card information and immediately saw an error message saying the transaction didn't go through. I then placed another order and received a confirmation email (still thinking I had only been charged once at this point). A few weeks later I received two orders (despite only getting one order number and one confirmation email). They double-charged my credit card and wouldn't let me return the first order without paying for shipping as well as restocking fees. I placed an order on 11/8/21 for an item that was listed as being IN STOCK. I've called several times and keep getting a runaround. They said the item was on backorder even though it's still listed as being in stock. I called last week and.was to they would.be re either ING the item the next day and they would ship it out to me the following day. Paid for a tool that was said to be in stock and will ship within 24 hours, then the next day told it would be in stock in 7 days, then the next day told it would be a couple months. I should have read the other reviews before ordering, it seems they have an issue with things saying they are in stock when they are not. Drop of a tool for warranty service and was told that if it wasn't covered under warranty there would be a $15.00 freight charge. Tool was repaired by manufacturer no charge. They call me and tell me that it was covered and that there was a $20.00 freight charge. The same person who wrote up the ordered lied right to me. On 5/17/19 I placed an order for Milwaukee Grease. The shipping was not only outrageous, as of 6/7/19 I still do not have my grease! I called both of their numbers-the system came on-I waited-it rang & rang-but nothing. My experience seems to mirror the Poster Kevin M who evidently still don't have what he paid for either. I ordered something from them in July and I received an email that the item was no longer available for sale and had been discontinued. "Unfortunately in speaking with the company it has become obsolete without replacement.  At this time we have cancelled it from your order and charged your card accordingly.  We apologize for any inconvenience". This statement is untrue because it was offered by at least 5 other websites one of which I bought it from. So far I have not yet received the refund to my CC almost a month after their 1st response and 2 weeks after they said that they would call me. Still waiting for the refund of more than $500. I'm glad I used a CC and started the dispute resolution process. I thought it would be nice to support a female owned company but not responding to a new customer issue will not get them any business from me or anyone I talk to in my trade in the future. Ordered nov 3rd and it didn't shop til nov 23rd. I attempted several times to contact through phone and email to check the status and never heard anything back from them. I was beginning to think they scammed me or forgot about my order.. 20 days to ship an item with no communication or response to messages so 14 days after my order I placed an order with someone else.. They charged my card 4 times for the same item. 27 days after I placed my order it arrived but by then I no longer needed it because my other order with another company arrived 3 days after it was ordered.. I placed an order through Ace Tool on June 19th for a Milwaukee laser line detector (received) and a Milwaukee tripod. I called back twice to find out the status of the tripod, and they said it was on back order (fine, no problem). They also said they would check with the Milwaukee rep to get status both times; each time they never called me back. I would rather support small businesses even if their prices are higher, but communication is key, even if it is automated (Amazon). Because I received half my order, I'm giving them 3 stars. However, I'll probably never use Ace Tools again as there are many other options out there for tools. I would suggest they look at B&H Photography as a customer service model. read more

I ordered a Trend Air Shield from them. They took the money from my Pay-pal and sent me an order conformation. The product never shipped and when I called and asked for an update the woman said there was a $199 increase from the manufacture on a $300 item! Then she wanted to charge me the difference.
