The guy came in and open the sump to look for leaks, but he didn't fix anything. I was charged $500 a ridiculous price just for an hour of work to inspect and put a snake camera into the pipe. Another thing is the plumber couldn't even put the sump cover back on because it was so heavy. I let him leave the sump cover aside without covering-my mistake!! For short visit without resolution, the plumber was overcharging when I am under pressure of basement filling up with water. I basically felt. I didn't get value for my money. It was not worth it.

It was easy to get an estimated quote over the phone. And they were upfront about charges for labour and bringing their trucks. I had other projects happening so I could only provide Torresan with a rough starting time and even though it ended up being a later starting date, they were able to fit perfectly into my timeline. Their staff also always arrived slightly early or right on time, which is amazing for an early morning start as I had other vendors scheduled to work right after they disconnected the appliances. Overall, got the job done exactly as needed. Final total was close to the quote. Arrived early and got in and out on disconnect and connect days in an hour. Would use them again.

Dominic came out to look at the job for the broken water main, gave us an estimate with in half day. Two days later we had Dylan and staff to fix the broken water main. It was done in two days during freezing cold weather. They cleaned up after each day, provided safety barriers and even salted the surrounding area so no one slipped. Mike was polite, professional, patient (with all my questions and my nose in his work space) and very knowledgeable. Mike showed me the problems with his camera, explained and then clearly told me what he would be using and how he could fix the issues. The video footage was eye opening and fantastic to see. He used hydro jetting to cut through many feet of roots (at least 5' of clog in one difficult spot), and then flushed everything out. Mike went above and beyond, persevered to getting through the 25+ years of roots clog. It took an hour of hard work to get through just 5 feet, yet he did it... when I am sure others would have just insisted I dig up the area and spend a fortune solving the problem. After flushing the whole system, he again used the camera to confirm everything was clean. Mike advised me on future handling and gave me options to consider on how to repair the builders bad design and access that made the job so difficult. Having Mike here for the outside drains, I asked him to check the inside...and he again showed me the buildup from my kitchen sink to the main drain - in less than 5 minutes, he had the kitchen sink draining faster than I had ever seen before. I am very thankful I found Clean Slate Rooter and Drain. Regards, C. Smith, Delta, BC
