Willow is HANDS DOWN the best out of the three therapists I've tried here. I felt the most relaxed I've ever felt, and she somehow found every single spot that needed attention without me even saying much. It was like she read my stress levels telepathically. She was gentle but effective, really intentional with her movements, and made sure I was fully relaxed the entire time. No rushed feeling, no "are we done already?" -- just pure melt-into-the-table energy. My 60-minute massage was $55, and hubby's 60-minute deep tissue with Laura was $60 -- which is honestly such a steal for how good we felt walking out. There is truly no better way to end a long work week than with a Friday massage. We floated out of there like two stress-free marshmallows. They're located in a small plaza on Las Tunas Dr. in Temple city. After doing my diligent search in finding the best massage spa in town I finally found the one that has good reputation. I came early evening as a walk-in at Ace Spa; from the outside it looks bloody modest like most of Asian spa in SGV. I was in dire need to alleviate my thicc back particularly the lower back. I asked for a basic body (1hr./$55) massage and was escorted to one of their dim lit rooms. My female masseus (WeiWei) was exceptionally skilled and professional. There I was getting ready and watching the bloody clock like a marathon runner. Her massage techniques (Deep tissue) were fantastic and hits every muscles of my body. She communicated well throughout our session and was lovely and fun to work with. Therefore, I tipped her significantly. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. I decided to treat myself to a massage and found this cute little place. It's tucked away on a small strip mall and parking is easy. I got a 90 full body massage with Nancy for $80. The massage was pretty great. Nancy was a good communicator and very polite. My sore feet are always the most in need of massage, and I was not disappointed. I usually fall asleep during a good massage but that didn't happen this time. The reason is I was in the room close to the front door and there was quite a bit of activity with customers coming in and phone calls. That is my only complaint of the place. Maybe next time I'll ask for a room closer to the back. They charge $2 fee for credit card, so I paid cash instead. I'll try this place again. read more

Really amazing massages! My boyfriend and I came for a couples massage for Valentine's Day and they did NOT disappoint! We asked for extra attention to my shoulders because they've been hurting lately and my masseuse got so many knots out it felt incredible. They also made sure to do the full 60 minutes, despite us being late because we went to the wrong location. It was $160 for a couples massage and facial! They also played really relaxing music the whole time and kept it dim, but not too dark to where we couldn't find our stuff after lol. I'm so in love with this place!!! I'm not from this area, but I was visiting my husbands grandma down the street. They opened about a week ago and I guess this is new ownership. The place was super clean, private and customizable. I'm not used to the level of communication they had, so if that's important to you this is a good spot. My particular lady was really sweet and super skilled. Perfect amount of pressure and she hit all the spots I needed in the 60 minutes I had. I personally did a combo massage, as once I walked in I could tell it'll be worth the money. My biggest regret is not throwing down for 90 minutes, which is typically my regret when it's really good. This review is straight up for Laura only. I don't typically go to these places because I want someone who actually knows what they are doing, especially when you are needing deep pressure. I've had many friends get injured in a place like this. However, there are a rare few individuals who are just plain natural at providing an effective and efficient session. Laura is definitely one of those rare gems. I usually like 60 minutes or more but was pressed on time so 30 minutes is what I opted for. Quite honestly Laura did such an amazing job at hitting all the right spots with the perfect amount of pressure for just the right amount of time, that the 30 minutes was actually enough for me. Because I know how hard this profession can be I made sure to give her a nice gratuity especially since the cost was very low compared to where I usually go. I happy to say I now have a back up. I loved my recent massage here. I'm always scared to get massages - I need a lighter massage than most people, and have been to places that left me in pain for days because I couldn't communicate what I needed (no matter if the massage therapist spoke English or not.) I came with a friend who has the opposite needs to me. We both got exactly what we needed, and the experience was just fantastic. Lisa was just perfect - I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The music was just the right volume, and very relaxing. It was easy to make an appointment for later that day, and we were able to pay using a credit card. The prices were very competitive, and all the people there were very friendly. Before I left I grabbed 4 business cards, and called other friends from the car to tell them I found a great new place. I've found my new favorite spot! I used to go to another place but my regular masseuse has left the country and I had to find a new place. My first experience was positive to say the least. The establishment is clean and the prices are competitive. The owner is extremely nice and let me know I could always make appointments with my favorite masseuse. I don't like to leave negative reviews, especially for a small mom-and-pop business like this, but the way I was treated here was unacceptable. Let me start off by saying the masseuses here are great -- I've had Paris and Lisa previously and they are attentive, friendly, and good at what they do. The spa is clean, and I don't think you will be disappointed with a massage here. Unfortunately, on my visit here this week I believe I dropped my wallet in the parking lot as I was leaving, and drove away without realizing it. The next day, I called Ace Spa to see whether a Good Samaritan might have turned it in. Whoever answered the phone (I think it may have been Laura, who is also one of the owners) was incredibly rude for no reason. After I briefly explained what had happened, she said "What?!" in the most condescending tone. Taken aback, I repeated myself and asked whether anyone might have found my wallet. She immediately said "Nooo! We don't have your wallet" without even bothering to check. I said "Oh, okay, just wanted to see whether anyone might have turned it in," to which she said "Noooo!" in the same annoyed manner. I still thanked her but as I was hanging up, I heard her say "Stupid!" (And while maybe it was stupid of me to drop my wallet, that's not something a paying customer likes to hear!) So while the massages are good, that experience has really soured me on this place. I won't be coming back here again. P.S. I also called the restaurant "Ducks" right next door to the spa to check about my wallet, and the manager who answered the phone couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. He spent several minutes checking the store, spoke to his servers and asked for my name and phone number in case the wallet turned up. Sasa was my person. She was pretty good but there was times I had to tell her to lighten up. I had surgery and explained to them prior and they said no problem. I was in so much pain in my shoulder due to neck surgery. When I was trying to tell her where I needed more attention she kept repeating I know,I know, she did not know. It was to the point that I had to paid 10 extra mins for her to focus only on the spot I kept trying to tell her to do in the first place . When I paid $20 on my 90 min massage which was I think $80 which didn't include the $10 extra dollar for 10 extra mins she told her boss and her boss stopped her massage to come and tell me to give her more tip! I said is $5 more ok she said yea. First off a tip is something that comes out of you it is not obligated. What she did was so tacky and honestly lost a customer. She made the vibe so uncomfortable when I was out looking for pain relief. I have to go in at least once a week for a massage due to my surgery. I will not be going back simply because they are ungrateful. The tip was 25% which is a really good tip. They have no shame. It makes me sad to write a post that isn't good but I wish I knew what I was getting myself into. I should have read the reviews.
