Only three contractors got back to me with quotes (one with extremely high cost). Nice impression in 1st meeting. Jim and his team have been great with their communication by email and text. They were able to get the job done in a timely manner and communicated all the details (scope of work, pricing ...) upfront. Jim was extremely courteous, friendly and professional. We have been very happy with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for other projects in the future.

I am not sure what happened, but they entirely ghosted us…read more Everything started very well. Tammy and Jim were very responsive and very helpful. Their plan looked wonderful, and after a month we had a few questions. After meeting with a ton of other contractors, we established a few questions we never thought of before we started this project. They told us that we would have a ton, and they would be very happy to help us. We are going to spend a lot of money, and wanted to make sure that the money we were going to spend was going to the right people. We asked the same 12 questions to the other contractor and they got back to us within a few days. I do not feel the questions were out of line, but apparaently they did not want to answer them. Look we are getting into a large project. Full kitchen and two bathrooms with a 1800 sq ft home getting its hardwoods completely restained and sanded. We got an email saying that they had been out of town, after a week of not hearing from them. After that never heard from them again. Still, have never heard from them. We emailed, and texted them many times. Nothing. I understand life happens, and things happen. However I have been in customer service most of my life, and if something happens you let your customers know why you cannot or will not be able to respond. After excellent service, there was no follow through, and after telling us, we would have a ton of questions, and they would be happy to answer any of them, they never did.

Service from this company was superb. I needed decals with my logo for my products…read more I emailed my request and had a response almost immediately. I wanted a "sticker" for my guitar, amplifier and pedal projects. I had an idea for a logo but no idea how to make it look professional nor how to get it manufactured. The email response sent a sample which we worked on and then when I was satisfied they produced a sheet approximately 30 decals. I received them in less time than they suggested it would take and they are absolutely perfect. Amazing service and a super good value!

These guys do a fantastic job! Highly recommend! They do quality work, are extremely professional,…read moreand are happy to work with you around design and budgetary preferences. They did significant work on our dank, partially finished basement, building a comfortable living room, completely refinishing the bathroom, updating some electrical, rebuilding the stairs, and even doing some extra work to seal the walls of our 100-year-old house. Towards the end, since they got pretty busy in their schedule, there were a few details that needed to be redone and the end of the project dragged on a little longer than expected, but overall, we were very happy with the work and the completion of the project. Their guys are very professional, with all of their direct employees wearing their company's logos to ensure on-site security. They work efficiently, exhibited good craftsmanship, and are thorough (even helped us haul away some extra old fixtures). They can help with some design recommendations, but they aren't technically architects, so it helps if you already have some idea of what you want to accomplish in your build. Sure, you could get much higher end finishes and building details, but for the price and value, these guys are excellent. And they've also helped with some water damage repair on short notice, which was super helpful. In general, they were great at communication on our project (although they got a little busy toward the end). However, sometimes emailing doesn't work well, so I'd recommend calling or texting if you really want to get a hold of them.

I'm moving out of my house after 7 years and he staged it for me - using all my own stuff. I should have hired him years ago... the place looks amazing! Avoid Rockwell Interior Design, which is also operating as Chic Cabinetry…read more(Rockwellcabinetsdesign.com) in Gig Harbor, WA. We chose Rockwell/Chic at the recommendation of our contractor, as this was their preferred cabinet provider. This proved to be a mistake, as Liane Rockwell was more interested in satisfying her sense of design than meeting our needs within the space available. Our contractor needed to intervene to get the design changes we needed. Then the design mistakes showed up with the cabinets. Drawers would not fit under bathroom sinks and had to be remade, the kitchen appliance garage was missing the internal box and shelves, and the storage cabinet for our laundry room was delivered without anything to support the internal shelves and it was 2 inches shorter than needed, preventing the installation of the adjacent cabinets flush to the ceiling as desired. The Liane's response was, "Those things happen", and she refused to correct the situation. Leaving our contractor to deal with the cabinet manufacturer.

We have been terribly disappointed with our Pedini experience…read more Our architect suggested we go to them, and look at their Blu line of fixtures. We did, and what a mistake. They assured that we are getting a fantastic set of fixtures for our bathroom remodel. We swallowed hard because the cost was 50% more than the metal fixtures we had looked at by Koehler, but they convinced us. What a mistake. All of the control handles and Blu fixtures are stamped from plastic with cheap metallic coating. We've had two completely delaminate, and all of the wall covers have come loose. Our general contractor has been trying to get Pedini to replace those which the yellow plastic is showing through the cheap veneer, but three months later, the only thing we hear is the chip of crickets. Please think long and hard about a high-end distributor who pawns cheap plastic fixtures off, then seems to avoid standing behind them when they fail.

I was in a pinch. I was looking to rent a bass amp for a show, and my original place fell through…read moredue to their rehearsal studios losing two bass amps that week. So I looked around, and a friend of mine told me about SIR. I didn't know there was one in Seattle, as I was only familiar with their large Hollywood, CA location. I took a look on their website and saw what they had available. I really only needed a combo amp since the venue was small. So I called them, and the staff there was very friendly. I asked about a bass combo, which is something they don't get a lot of calls for...so all they had was an Ampeg BA-500, which is a pretty solid combo and would work for what I needed. It was a bit tough to find the place, as it is only a block East of Stone Way. I got there and talked to Dave and Andre, who found out that two hours after I called THAT amp went out too. So they took care of me and gave me a deal on a GK 800RB head and a 4x10 classic Ampeg cabinet. A bit more than what I had anticipated on hauling, but good thing my girlfriend has a good sized back seat in her car. The gear got me through, and the process was quick and painless. The show went off great...and my bass sounded amazing. The lack of selection of combos was what was teetering between a 4 and a 5, but their service pushed them over the top. They were friendly and they knew what they were doing. If you need a quick rental, I highly recommend SIR.
