He went above and beyond which needed up being a warranty claim. I hear that these shops don't nake much off of warranty work but Cliff still took it on and even discovered stuff He had never seen before. His updates over the phone were extremely detailed and through as well as when I picked it up. He even showed me the old engine and what happened. I highly recommend this business and will definitely come back in thr future even just to do a oil change so I can support his business as he deserves to continue staying in business. Called in February because we saw an ad that said $99.00 Winter Tune-up rate. Apparently they were sooo busy they couldn't pick up my tractor until March. Then when they picked it up, we confirmed that we would still get the February $99.00 rate even though it was March!! The guy that picked it up told my 80 year old Mother that we would still get the February Deal. And then they told us it would be another three weeks before they got it back to us! The tractor was supposed to be back on the 15th of April (already closer to a Month) but no one calls. On April 16th (FIRST BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND) we get a call from Jeff that says our tractor is ready and it will be delivered on Tuesday. The BILL!!!! OVER $400.00!!!! For a TUNE-UP ON A LAWN MOWER!???!! I called him back and said "NOOOOO" you told us we would get the $99.00 Winter Rate! He said "oh no, that's for a Walk Mower!!! Ummm, you picked up a Rider, why didn't you mention that then!!! He says, Oh we never discussed price!! Just to be clear, we don't EVER look to a Mechanic for ANYTHING without discussing PRICE!! I'll go on and complain about the $440.29 we spent on this same tractor last spring, but it had been a couple of years since we had it in so we were kind of expecting it last year. When we got it back last year, it cut my grass in strips because the blades were uneven and it leaked oil all over the garage floor. I didn't call to complain last year because it wasn't until May 15, that we got it back and into June before I saw the consistent problems. By that time, you can't go 3 weeks without your mower when your mowing 1/2 an acre. It was running and cutting the grass, I'll just know better next year and get it in sooner. And honestly, had NO intention of bringing it back to SCHULTZ after the lousy jiob they did last year until we saw the ad for $99'00. Well let me tell you, getting it in sooner is not the key. Getting it in annually, not the key!!! NOT TAKING it to SCHULTZ, now there's the key!!! I called back today within 15 minute of the first phone call and said "don't do any work on my tractor" Jeff says, "Oh, it's already done" WHOA, who authorized those repairs?? And if you have it done, return it. He says, we don't have anyone here to deliver it. Seriously?? You slam everyone with these prices and you can't afford to employ someone on a Saturday in the Spring of Wisconsin? AWESOME!!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE Service, they take advantage of elderly Women, complete unauthorized repairs, take waaaaay to long and do a lousy job!! Great Job there people, way to keep the local business. They have a very small selection of some key essential items, and some random odds and ends that you wouldn't expect them to. If you're on this side of town, and you're not wanting to put in a few extra miles, they're the only store of its kind in this particular corner of town. Bowever, they are well aware of that, and the price they charge for their merchandise is well above what it should be. And I get it, they're not a huge chain, they're a small little no name store, so they're just taking out the loss it costs businesses to even get up and running out on the customers because they expect them to pay it vs wasting their own time driving up town, I'm traffic, with our awfully slow speed limits, and our slow, unpredictable lights, so a lot of them will just eat their wallet, cut the loss, get what they need and try not to dwell on it too much. $12 for a 2 set of grilling skewers? And we needed three, so that's two, $34, plus tax, for essentially a pokey coathanger. Woof. Employee didn't know if they had them or where they might be, but otherwise she was very, very sweet. She seems to know my stepdad very well from him coming in there frequently to get random doodazzles and whatsits, and she's very nice to him, which means a lot to me, unfortunately it just doesn't pull enough sway to bring them higher up on the ratings. Nothing you can't get here you can't get anywhere else, and they're proud of their merchandise, as reflected on the price sticker. I will say, that it looks like they might have some weird candy it check out that I don't know if I've ever seen before in convenience stores, and that always piqued my curiosity a little bit, but I didn't come in with a wallet, so I didn't try any. Also not really something one should really be judging this type of establishment on. Whoopsie! Hehe. Just a little note that I didn't explore the time store, some of it might be rare, astounding, and reasonably priced, but I kind of doubt it. I think they're just banking on a convenient location and people paying more to get in and out, like people paying more at a Walgreens than somewhere else.

Bought a Pit Boss.... already assembled... it is dented on the bottom and all the screws are over tightened and chewed up... doesn't work when plugged in. Spent an hour on the phone with Pit Boss and they are sending a new controller. My husband calls True Value to discuss the condition of the grill. Manager offers to replace it but not assemble it... mind you this grill is around 220lbs... great service is making it right.... not meeting the lowest expectations.. by the way we weren't hung up but we heard what you said..... now won't take our calls..(5).and hung up on us when we called back.. smh

On my 1st visit he was not sure of the price so he double-checked, and that extra step and discussion made the price very clear to me, and I still wrote it down so I would remember. Apparently, when he went back to the office (where the customer cannot see what he's doing), he wrote it up for $20 more than he quoted me. When I came back to get my tree, he told me it was $20 more than he quoted me before. Of course he offered to cancel my purchase, but I had already invested in the cost of renting a truck, so canceling and buying elsewhere would have cost even more. Unfortunately, they have been the only nursery I have found in the area that sells fruit trees so I have to go back (ugh!) and when I do, I will certainly make them provide me the agreed upon price in writing. Also, I will try to get help from the nice young man instead of the older man who clearly can't be trusted. Buyer beware. The only additional thing I will buy will be my fruit trees. We love the great deals that we can find within your doors, so much so, that in fact, we purchase the majority of our household items from your 3600 East State Location. This past trip I just made though will prevent me from stepping foot within your doors if the specific employee remains employed by you. She is a young black woman, have never caught her name, and quite frankly I don't ever care to. When you walk in the doors, instead of greeting you with the usual 'hey, welcome to our store' like everyone else does, she greets you with a stink eye. And despite that, I still hit her with a smile. Now throughout the years, this location has had some very questionable hires, people that Walmart or a gas station would not even hire. But your current team has been phenomenal, continuing to go above and beyond for us consumers. I finally had a sigh of relief that I could shop at a store that provides me with deals, and not have to sacrifice on customer service. With the exception of this girl. I work, and have worked for years, in customer service. Which is likely the reason why things like this irk me. Today I waited in line for more than 10 minutes without this woman even bothering to page another associate that was available to come help her out. Myself, a couple behind me, and another woman. Here's the best part of it all, the customer that held up the line had a cart full of items and a giant binder full of coupons. She was an extreme coupon lady. Okay cool, I've seen this before and I'm understanding of it. So here's how this went down: Associate is black, customer is black, customer behind her is black. Then there's me. Coupon lady let's the guy behind her go and says he shouldn't have to wait. She looks at me, states 'oh she can wait' and all three of them, including your cashier, have a nice chuckle out of it. Now I'm not one to believe in the erroneous thing known as reverse racism, racism is racism. That was a racist remark that was chuckled at by your employee. That is disturbing and downright wrong. At a time with so much division in our society, the last place it should be brought to is your place of employment where everyone is there to just spend money. Now as I previously stated, she is overall just a highly unpleasant individual. As an individual that works in customer service, I feel as if it is your right to know that this is the type of person representing your business. She is on the front line, the very last person people remember when they leave the store. She should make the best impression because that is key to keeping people coming back and overall, keeping your doors open. Instead of paging someone else, she sat there with the lady fiddling about her coupons for Clorox bleach. If you have a customer that you know will take a while, you clear the line first then deal with the issue. That is basic customer service knowledge. As soon as she took that lady, instead of chuckling at her racism, she should've paged for assistance. It took the other associate noticing the growing line before we were relieved from our horrendous wait. I'm sorry, but this is unacceptable. I can only imagine how many others have been put in similar situations with her. That is not someone you want representing you. I have recommended your store to others in the past because of said deals, and I will be certain to inform them of my atrocious experience at this location, and ensure that they do not frequent this location anymore either. Maybe I'll be back, but for now, in an ever expanding world of your competitors, I will be sure to shop them instead.
