Clayton has always been outstanding. On time, calls ahead, professional, polite, competent, & dependable. As far as the company, it has gone downhill since Dick Hill & Son sold out to Ace Hardware and now to some company in Ohio. Dick Hill & Son was outstanding and i sure wish they still owned the business. Prices are high, service overall is not great. Phone calls are not returned. Part fot AC i put on last year more than doubled from quote prior year. This year same part is down $80 from last year. ​I will call again about the price lowered but likely will get no response again. Again, Clayton was great--he has done my service checks for years. I think Doug is still there and is great, too. He is in more of a managerial position now. Unfortunately, most of the Dick Hill staff have left. I dont like giving reviews like this and dont recall doing so for any other business, but am so disappointed in what's happened to a once great company is disheartening. We had a great experience with your business Tuesday 07/04/2017. We woke up to our A/C unit not working and a very hot house. We have 2 small children and it didn't make things easy. We also were hosting a 4th of July cookout later that day and needed the A/C for our older guests to escape the heat for moments at a time and still enjoy the cookout. It being the 4th of July holiday we were sure that no one would answer but your business had an emergency line and was more than willing to send someone out to help. We called at 9am and by 9:09 your technician {Fred} had got in contact with us. He arrived at our home by 10:00. He was very professional and quick with his work. He was also more than accommodating to come out on a holiday and be away from his family. We appreciate the work he did. It was also at a reasonable price being a holiday and all. Nikko Johnson my technician instantly spotted the problem with my draining issues after other companies failed to find a solution. He was very respectful and works very fast. He was easy to communicate with​ about finding a solution. I would highly recommend him as a technician. My only complaints would be with the initial installation and some of the work was subpar so it had to be corrected by Nikko. While the service was top-notch dealing with the office was not a pleasant experience. I went without air conditioning for over a week during the hottest month of the summer. Instead of calling me directly I received emails waiting for my approval of their invoice. There was some lack of communication between the office workers and myself. But overall they fixed my HVAC unit and the technician Nikko was top tier. They're lucky to have him as part of their team. read more

Ace did a fantastic job for us when we needed help the most! In the middle of the terrible cold weather our furnace was giving us trouble and needed to be replaced. Ace helped us to pick out a new Bryant Furnace that fit our needs. Nate was quick to schedule a visit to our home and did not try to oversell us and there was no pressure at all just helpful information. He answered all our questions and was able to give us a written quote on the spot and also gave us several payment options. We got next day installation which was a blessing!!!! And fixed problems along the way through the house (or made notes) I am Impressed. I needed a furnace repair person to figure out why there were cold spots in my home. Nikko Johnson came and did a wonderful job. He not only was able to adjust the dampers on the heating ducts so cold grooms got more heat but he also told me how I could save money on the current service charge and needed annual check up by by purchasing an annual service plan. He then did a great job of cleaning and adjusting the furnace so it will operate at optimum capacity. I definitely recommend him for anyone else with furnace issues. read more

He did an awesome job today on cleaning my AC unit, explains the process and makes sure I get the signed receipt for the service and the reading report he did. My furnace had quit working i called Ace to come look at it found out needed 2 parts, parts had to be ordered they didn't have them in stock, so it took a week to fix it but Dusty came with parts and had it up and running, she did a excellent job,I would highly recommend her. read more
