Grill supplies(Traeger and others), nuts, bolts etc.. plant supplies and great selection of bird feeders. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Wish they were open on Sundays - for my FIY projects.

I hate buying anything online, but it looks like that is my only option, if my options near me can't even keep their garden center safe. It's ok Plants N Things in Brenham is just down the street, they are family owned and operated and they have the best customer service, the best prices, the best selection. Go there.

Lowe's is a much better organized store than the other big box DIY/hardware store with the orange…read morecolor. I do go to the other store more often out of habit as they are really close to each other in Brenham. Since I mostly live in Houston where the closest Lowe's is an extra 15 min drive, I end up going orange. However, when I am in Brenham I do like to go to Lowe's as they often will have the item you need, for the same price, and easier to find.

When I asked the owner about why the communication from our sales rep was so inconsistent regarding the start date for our job, he didn't deny it - but he seemed genuinely annoyed that I would question them about their process, and acted like I was wasting his time. When he discovered their operations manager didn't inform me of the project start date per their usual process, he quickly dismissed it as an anomaly. The more specific my questions were, the more visibly irritated he became, then he just walked away. He didn't seem to care about making things right, he just wanted to move on. They will tell you one thing, deny it later, and push back at you to make it seem like the customer is the problem. Proceed with caution.
