I want to add that I had an unfortunate experience with Marvin Windows on the same project. They quoted one price then tried to raise it 30k(!) claiming our scaffolding require cutting trees and pulling the hardware up a large tree line. I KNEW this wasn't true from other projects. Yet many moons later I never received the quote & had to follow up numerous times to their office where the lady kept promising they would send ect ect & yet still never happened. The lady initially said the quote was in their computer then eventually changed her story to con me into another visit. then I still kept following up & the lady starts saying they could send out their manager who would give me the best prices correctly. I mentioned of how a customer could compare the best price if I never received the original quote. These jokers are the most unprofessional insincere group of sheisters I've ran across lately. Well considering I still wanted the types of products measurements to reference later I allowed for another visit. Wasting yet another hour of my time already understanding these Anderson renewal peeps aren't honorable. Got my quote by email during the 2nd inspect with another crazy astronomical cost but now I at least had the opening measurements.. yippee. I would never recommend nor would ever have Renewal by Andersen peeps ever do any project in my lifetime because they say one thing and do another being totally dishonest & if the quote process is that difficult one could only imagine what their installation process would be like. Bunch of jokers trying to rip off the public trying to get any unsuspecting people to bite on their outrageous quote. The first thing I did was attempt to connect with the sales person on LinkedIn so I could talk to him, but he refused my request. That was the first hint that I knew something was up. My Mom told me that her windows were due to be installed in April. They told her this was because they were not in stock and it would take that long to arrive. She told them that that would work out fine because her daughter would be visiting and be there during the installation. However when she told me that the windows were going to cost $35,000 for 12 windows, I nearly fell out of my chair. My Mom had asked for a breakdown per window which he never gave her until January but it didn't matter because she had already signed the contract. She had asked him for a copy of the agreement but it was all on his laptop according to my mother, and she never got a paper copy as requested. Can you imagine my 81 yo mother trying to read a contract on a tiny laptop screen? It's ludicrous. He also never told her she had 3 days to cancel by law. I tried calling the national headquarters next. When they FINALLY called me back they absolutely would not budge. And come to find out, when they got wind that I had called to inquire, JUST to inquire, they immediately put a rush order in for the windows and suddenly they were "at the warehouse" two or three months before they were due to arrive. Now, they said, she would owe a restocking fee. And furthermore, they straight up lied to me and said that they had made a special accommodation for her by waiting until April to install. This was categorically untrue. Then I found out that the sales rep had called her and offered to help my 81 yo Mom put these windows in her garage until April. And when she said there was no room, he offered to come over and make room. In the end, she ended up having the windows installed because she felt like she didn't have a choice. But she certainly did not keep them in her garage. They use strong arm and high pressure tactics and that makes them sleazy. And this is coming from a real estate agent. The fact that the sales rep not once got in contact with me says EVERYTHING. Stay far far away from this company. They charge 5x as much- 3,000 PER WINDOW! And the pressure you to sign on the spot and don't give you a copy of the agreement and don't inform you of your consumer rights.

Contacted Clean Cut last week, got a great quote (not the most expensive, not the least expensive) and engaged them. Rather than the six to eight weeks to get the doors installed, they told me it could be 3 or 4 weeks. Then they called and said they had the door in and could they do it later this week... Here we are a week later and the door is in. Great crew to install the doors and then a separate employee to paint and finish the trim. Meticulous. skilled craftsmen at work. Great job, great value, great products.

UPDATE: Clean Cut has contacted us this week and is working with us to figure out a resolution…read more Sounds like there was some sort of personal issue that took the owner away from the business and someone else within the business is trying to address the lingering issues, like our situation. They wanted to ensure we got our money back through the bank (which we did) and have also offered to complete the job if we want to do that. While I wish we had gotten this done back when we initially went through the process, I'm impressed they followed up after all this time to make sure we are made whole.

The fit me in quickly for a day/time that worked best for me (hallelujah for around toddler nap). I went in and was able to relax and work while my car took less than 2 hours. Left and let it cure, it looks great! After that, we reached out to have two front windows of our home get tinted with a reflective sheen. We absolutely love it. Both times: great process, great help, great quality, great overall service. We will most likely schedule some more residential window tinting.
