A very good computer repair company. When trying to boot up one of our Intrex Computers custom…read morebuilt desktop home PCs, the Gigabyte motherboard firmware displayed a "Boot failure detected" message and wouldn't complete the boot. I took a cell phone photo of the screen and printed the image. I then took the printed image to the NerdsToGo store and showed the image to technician Jeffrey. Clearly Jeffrey was/is very knowledgeable about PCs. After viewing the image, Jeffrey indicated that this problem sometimes occurs because of brief on/off cycles in the power grid (which do occur in Cary). He suggested that, in response to the "failure detected" message I simply press the ENTER key on the keyboard to allow the boot to proceed to completion. When I returned home this did indeed work (after I replaced our wireless keyboard with a wired keyboard). Thanks to Jeffrey's suggestion, I was able to fix the PC without having to bring it to the NerdsToGo store. Jeffrey did not charge me for his suggestion. Thank you Jeffrey for your help. Much appreciated.

STAY AWAY FROM PHILIP So the reviews are great, I know…read more Maybe I just got a dud, but my phone is destroyed. I wish I left it cracked. First off, Philip came to my house to repair my phone. He replaced the screen and then cracked it while placing it. When I said I'm not paying you 100$ for a broken phone he got angry and demanded his 100$. That was pretty scary and being home alone with this angry stranger left me no choice but to pay him. Now my phone cuts off at 65-75 percent battery life I just cant believe it... I'm so mad. Maybe the other technicians are good but stay away from Philip. iCracked was no help either.. I received no refund for my broken screen/phone. Batteries Plus Bulbs will match the cost AND use better quality parts. They showed me there that Philip used cheap parts and skipped steps replacing my screen. SLOPPY SLOPPY SLOPPY. BAD BUSINESS.

The guy who answered the phone let us know that he could fix the issue and have it done within 20 minutes. We came to the location right away and located Curtis who was the gentleman that was going to help With my phone. The suite/office is located inside of a building. The location has a lobby waiting area, however Curtis let my daughter and I wait in the office as he fixed my phone. He told me and showed me how my battery had extended (physically it was making my screen bulky), which was contributing to my battery life being horrible with my phone. He literally was done fixing it within 20 minutes and the phone's battery was at 77% once he was done fixing it - so I didn't have to wait to be able to use it. He was knowledgeable, kind and quick. I would return for other services and would recommend him/RDU cell phone repair to others in need of services. I paid around $75 and they accept digital payment. They also buy devices as well! Thank you, Curtis for fixing my phone!
