I was in aware of a check cashing fee $8.00 the fee was a shock as the check was drawn on there bank however what I didn't expect was being treated so poorly! I would never bank with BofA and certainly I would never enter this business again! The teller only wanted to put me in my place plain and simple! Have we lost all civility? They care about my family and have a unique way of preventing scams and thefts. They single handedly prevented my father from sending away a few thousand dollars to very skilled fraudsters. When I was in a pickle while out of town this bank hand delivered a check to a local business to help me out. I have never had a bank do this for me. Above all this, the staff are what makes this bank my bank. The manager Gretchen is always kind, willing to listen and refer me to the experts needed in town. Melani the assistant manager calls me if she notices something about my account and has helped me sort out a few mis-calculations. The tellers are vibrant and always so friendly. They greet me when I come into the bank and they even share their coffee. I feel like family when I come here. The commercial banker Mark is always willing to say hi and check in on things with me. He is so knowledgeable in real estate and the local experts he works with. The banker Josh is never afraid to senda friendly smile my way even when he's obviously very busy. Overall they have had my back more than once and I always send my closest friends to them

Perhaps they should change their name to Bank of India as there are no CS reps in America any longer. I moved $180,000 from BofA savings to Discover Saving Bank; all Discover employees (credit card and savings bank) are in the US. The CS is superb. I recommend Discover to anyone wanting top level CS. They didn't care that I had already paid bills with the my money they made available but then said nope you get zero until the 19th!!! 13 days away!!! My account is now overdrawn 495.00 and that DOES NOT include the 35 NSF per transaction AS WELL as redeposit fees and NSF that everyone else will charge!! In addition to that I now cant get my BMW out of the repair shop because I don't have an extra 1400 handy . I JUST went back to work last week. I think WELLS FARGO may have not know we just came out of a pandemic. so now i have to rent a car for an additional 13 days and cant pay for my car until the 13day hold is released, I spoke to 3 different reps climbing the latter one of which burped in my ear. Latela, who works for CSCU's Call Center is pure gold encrusted with gemstones. I have cancer and…read morework full-time but had to start working a second job to pay for an out-of-pocket medical treatment that really was helping me. For over 3 years I worked 7 days a week to earn enough to pay for it. I would send the medical facility money to put on my account and then go for treatment when there was enough. This worked well until I got too sick to go and finally had to ask for my money to be refunded. There was well over $5,000 on my account but they were rude and said it wasn't there and ended the call. I called CSCU and got Latela in the Call Center. She was so kind, and wanted to help but it had been well over a year since the medical institution has cashed my last check for $3,500. She tried everything but it was not possible to see who endorsed a check cashed that long ago. All I can say is she took a few days and must have jumped through unimaginable hoops and she emailed me every bit of info she could find to prove that the medical facility had indeed cashed my check. She said she regretted being unable to know how they would respond. Well, I sent them the information and they responded! They said they had put $3,500 into the wrong account in error and refunded all the money on my account! All in all, Latela saved me $5,500 that I can use for cancer treatment. I had been facing a deep, dark, desolate pit of hopelessness and I cannot even estimate how many hours she put into this, but Latela restored my hope. She is a priceless testament to the customer service and integrity of CSCU, and she will be priceless to anywhere she ever may work. From the bottom of my heart, CSCU, thank you for Latela. (Btw, the medical facility really, truly made an honest mistake, and were just a bit hasty to imply a long-time customer had suddenly tried to defraud them.) Still, without Latela, I would have lost years of hard, hard work and not been able to recoup my funds.
