Down the long hallway there's several doors and each one is a private massage room along with a foot massage rooms that are for tandem from site so you don't have a whole crowd of people lined up one next to the other. That already is a plus. The place is clean tidy it smells good you feel very welcome when you walk in and the prices are comparable to those others around. Mindy gave me at my foot massage for an hour and proceeded my back with my feet soaked which is the usual ritual. She then sat me back on the very comfortable chair and I dozed off as she massaged and gave me reflexology on my feet, which was absolutely wonderful. She had a strong grip and that's my preference. She kept asking me " is this okay this is okay" and of course it was okay so that was a little distracting at times. But she was very sweet about it I was just in deep slumber. I'm definitely coming back here also because the fabulous Asian market next door!

While there are a few very good massage therapists here, it has become clear that they do not honor their call -ahead appointments. Over the last few years, I have been double booked at the same time as somebody else numerous times. When I am the first of the two booked clients to get there, I get the massage, but my massage therapist has had to leave the room a few minutes into the session to address an angry customer in the waiting room who arrived only to find they have been double booked and have no session. Today, I arrived to find out my therapist was in a session and would not be available for another hour. So I reluctantly agreed to give someone I don't know a try, and that was a big mistake. She took forever to even come to the room, and then when she did and I laid down, nothing happened for at least a minute and so I looked up and saw her standing there scrolling her phone!!! She continued for nearly a minute and I started to sit up and she exclaimed, "What are you doing? Relax, I will do my best." I laid back down. Then...nothing again. I looked up again and she was scrolling her phone again! At some point she started and the massage was weak. I asked her to add more strength and she sighed with exasperation and did not make any change. I then got up and said I would reschedule. She stormed out. As I was getting dressed, the other woman from the front desk who had convinced me to give that first therapist a try came in and offered to do my massage herself. I agreed and laid back down. Thankfully, she actually had good strength and was respectful and professional. The chaos that occurred today was ridiculous. This is not the first time I have arrived at Asiami to find out that my therapist was double booked. Even worse, the first therapist I was set up with today was extremely rude and not even competent at the job when she finally did start. I am dumbfounded as to why Asiami would hire someone that is so unprofessionaI. If I have another experience like today's at Asiami, I may permanently take my business elsewhere. Please stop double booking your call ahead appointments!!!

At my first visit, we started with sitting in her office and going over my intake form. We discussed my area of concerns and lifestyle. Such a departure from so many places where the masseuse simply begins her work after a brief greeting and hardly listens to you. Her hands skillfully work out the knots (her IG handle is @ifixknottypeople haha) and I feel so much better afterwards. The massage table is very comfortable too, with heating just like fancier places. Such a good therapist is often fully booked, so do make your reservation early. My one little complain is that when making reservation online, I have to pay ahead, and they ask for the tip amount.
