Called on their towing prices and said 175.00 plus 5.00 per mile starting from outside city limits. they charged 7.00 per mile and from start to finish. Lied from the get go. While price gouging may not be illegal in ND, it is most definitely UNETHICAL & poor business, in EVERY state. I called Ace to get the amount to release a family members vehicle, and was quoted OVER $800!! $800+???? That almost FOUR TIMES the average/normal fee - it was definitely 4x the amount they charged my friend Sue 2 weeks prior. Unethical. Immoral. And I truly hope they made enough price gouging everyone to last a long time, because that's probably the last local business they'll get for awhile, they'll have to wait for some unsuspecting tourists who don't know any better to breakdown and gouge them. read more

I had my truck towed, when I called in the gal told me $100 for using the winch...... $400 later was my bill with a 10% charge for using cc, who walks around with that kind of money . This place is a total rip off!!! Be aware of the father son duo that comes out. They are very unfriendly and unprofessional do not get raped like I did.!!! read more

I would give these b******'s a negative 10 if I could but this site makes me choose at least one star to leave a review. My sister was killed in a fatal car accident after which the highway patrol had her vehicle towed to Ace towing. Because the highway patrol crash investigation took about 3 weeks, we were not able to gain access to her vehicle during that time. The day that the highway patrol released the vehicle we attempted to gain access to the vehicle to remove my sister's personal belongings but were told by Ace that they only dispatch vehicles on the weekends ....that they have no one at the office to let us in and we would have to wait until a weekday.... which meant even more storage fees (how convenient). So we again attempted to gain access to the vehicle on a Tuesday to retrieve my sister's personal belongings (which had very little monetary value but had sentimental value to those of us that loved and lost her) we were then told by Ace towing that we could not get the personal belongings out of the vehicle until we paid $1930 in towing and storage fees. My sister died and they want to withhold her personal belongings!!!! I question the legality of this and will be consulting law enforcement as well as an attorney tomorrow. I feel they are taking advantage of emotional and vulnerable people in a situation like this and I do not feel that they should be able to start charging a daily storage fee until after the hold has been taken off of the vehicle and the family members are actually able to gain access. Charging a daily storage fee while the vehicle is on hold for a crash investigation just seems cold and immoral. But then again this company is not known for its morals. Don't know how these people sleep at night! It's expensive enough to have to pay for a funeral and all the other expenses that come when a loved one dies and then they're gonna gouge you for $2000 to tow and store a vehicle for 3 weeks!!!! A monthly mortgage that size would get you one hell of a nice house and they're gonna charge that for a vehicle to sit out in there dirt lot. RIDICULOUS!!!! No wonder they are not part of the Better Business Bureau. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS. read more

Although they did get my car out and it was quite cold, they quoted me at $150 and tried to charge me $350. When I refused, they threatened to impound my car. Not a great experience. read more

If I could give negative stars I would! They charged $250 for mileage for a 10 mile round trip on top of the $400 pull out that took less than 10 minutes start to finish. There are other companies that you can use and I would recommend it! read more
