I had a bearing go out on boat trailer last summer on a Sunday afternoon north of Bismarck by…read moreWashburn. I called Dakota Towing since nothing was open in Washburn and no way to fix a bearing on side of road when shaft was in pretty bad condition. They came up with a flat bed and loaded it and hauled back to Bismarck and dropped off at place of my preference. I was impressed on how much care and patience the driver had loading and unloading the boat and trailer to make sure everything was done perfect so trailer and motor did not scrape the ground or flatbed. They turned a really bad day of fishing into a pretty good day. Thanks guys for your help.

I scheduled them to tow my vehicle because i couldn't get it to start after a dead battery. they…read morecame over and decided to attempt to jump start it first. the driver hooked the cables up wrong and let out a huge spark and smoke. he noticed it and swore then swapped the cables to the correct position. He finally got it started after about 20 minutes and some wiggling of the battery cables. i took it right to the shop and the next morning it wouldn't start. after diagnosing the car it was discovered that the brand-new starter i had replaced 1 month ago was fried. i called them up asking for them to pay for part of the repairs since they hooked it up incorrectly. he proceeded to tell me that he has been working on cars for 25 years and it had to have been a bad starter already. i will never call these crooks again.

STAY AWAY! I brought a boat trailer tire in because of a slow leak. 95 Percent tread left. They…read moretold me it couldn't be fixed and replaced the tire with another brand tire with different tread and geometry. I told them a boat trailer couldn't have two different tires on it. They argued with me and would not exchange the tire to match the damaged one. Needless to say, the boat trailer handles terribly down the highway. They refuse to make it right. I would expect a professional tire facility to know better. $125 paid in tuition. Two new matching tires now on trailer and it is fine. STAY AWAY!!!

I recently did business with Northwest tire, I mean, I tried doing business with them…read more I had called before I arrived and told the gentlemen on the phone that I just needed a trailer tire put on a rim (I provided the tire and rim). He said no problem, drop it off and they would just squeeze it in. He said it would be $11. I dropped the tire and rim off he stated it would be done shortly. So I ran around and did a few things and stopped by 2 1/2 hours later and the rim and tire were still sitting where they had placed it. I asked them how long till it was done and they said, "oh, yeah, maybe 45 minutes to AN hour. I told him I would just take it to Tire Mart and he said OK! Almost like my business was unwanted. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my entire life. I will not be doing business with them again.

Maas Euro Worx - Flat right before the valve stem blew out bc it wasn't replaced when replacing 23 year old tires.

These guys did a great job for us. The transmission on our Honda van blew out on a weekend …read more.. they made the time to assess the status after 5pm on Saturday (so we knew to get the process started at sourcing a new transmission before the weekend was through). They didn't push us to get the work done with them, and were open and transparent about what it would cost, et cetera. Even were willing to provide some positive reviews of the Honda dealership, since I had asked about them. That's a good sign for a mechanic to be willing to recommend alternatives. Eventually we did get them to do the work, and we did it all remotely (since we were then home, not in Bismark any longer). They were quick, and extremely helpful. They delviered on time, and alerted me to some other issues that they suggested I get fixed before long (without asking to do the work). All things considered, I'd definitely go back to Maas if I was looking for a mechanic in Bismark.

Anyways, that was sent with a picture of the old spark plugs in hand. I gave In and said I'm change them since it needed to be done. Two weeks go by and my oil light came on notifying I need oil. My husband has called multiple times and no answer, no call back, nada! Who knows what they even did, if anything. Needless to say we spent $800 and can't even get a returned phone call. I should have known by all the junk cara they have around they'd be garbage to do business with. Don't go to them! Especially if you're a woman by yourself. The other mechanics literally eye fuck you like they've never seen a woman in their lives.
