I did not even know there is a difference between shooting trap and sporting clay. The lady at the counter is very helpful. She explained that they have a sporting clay course that consists of 12 stations along a wooded path. We will follow the path on a map and find the different shooting stations. Since we have never been out here, she also came out to a station to show us how to use the wired as well as wireless clay throwers. I am so glad we came out to shoot that day! It was a chilly but sunny day. The course winds through some very pretty terrain including valleys and open fields. It is well maintained. All but one of the thrower switches were in good working order. I want to compare it to golf: you walk along a path and accomplish a goal at each station. Each station has random degrees of difficulty. There are two or three electronic throwers at each station. You can choose to throw one or two clay at a time...depending on your skill. I am a first timer...needless to say, I did not get lucky too many times. But hubby, who is not a first timer, LOVED the course and everything about it. He had the biggest grin on his face I have ever seen! Yes, we will definitely be back for more.

They have firearm sales and rental, consignments, firearm parts, reloading supplies, they also sell reloaded ammo. They have bullseye competitions which is beginner friendly. I purchased the Pistol Level 1 - Foundations Course and it far exceeded my expectations. Not…read morehaving ever had formal pistol training before, I feared it might be pretty generic and geared to the lowest common denominator. It's anything but! The course instructor, Jeremiah, is a true subject matter expert who has mastered the skills and techniques he teaches. He has boundless energy and enthusiasm for teaching and does a great job of instructing and coaching. Jeremiah is very dedicated to assuring his students fix what's not working and make continuous improvement. Despite the fact he's very good at pistol handling and shooting, he doesn't leave his students feeling inferior. Much of the training involves safety, drawing the weapon from the holster, dry firing, and then live fire after which Jeremiah analyzes each student's target results for corrective action. I highly recommend training with Jeremiah at Panther Ridge. It's a tremendous value and if students approach the course with the right attitude and practice what they are shown, improvement in pistol handling and shooting is guaranteed.

Brought my work group to M&M Archery for a team building event - I emailed them before hand letting…read morethem know how many people we had coming and if there was anything we needed to do outside completing the online waiver. Upon arrival they had already set up the arrows for us to use and put the targets together. We all rented equipment as none of us had shot an arrow before with a bow (gloves also provided) - Renting was $10 per person. The owner of the shop was very helpful and went through a quick lesson on how to hold the bow and arrows and gave sort of a crash course. This was BEYOND helpful and very appreciated. The odd thing was how close together you were next to the person shooting next to you, each person had roughly 1 foot for them to stand sideways and shoot your arrows. We had the freedom to move the targets and move between shooting lanes as we wanted - the freedom given was crazy! We ended up creating our own competition between the group - the area is small though and other people who were actually skilled at archery had come in and we had to try and be respectful of how they were coming in for actual practice. Overall - was a very fun, different, activity and the place was more than accommodating. Would recommend if you are looking for another team building event outside an Escape Room.
