I have been wanting to write this feedback since February and it's been on my draft since then, but…read morei think it's important that people should be aware of my situation so they can make the necessary decisions. Nonetheless, I was shopping around for a good tax professional and came across Tax Pro Plus. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing from the beginning. I called several times trying to get some information and discuss my tax situation, but I was repeatedly placed on hold and, on some occasions, the call was simply disconnected. After finally getting through to someone, I was told that I needed to file an extension. What concerned me was that this was in early February, and I was confused as to why an extension was already being recommended at that point without first taking the time to properly understand my situation. As someone who was actively looking for a reliable tax professional, I expected better communication, professionalism, and customer service. Instead, I felt like I was being rushed through the process and that my questions and concerns weren't being taken seriously. Filing taxes is something people need to feel confident about, and the first impression matters. Unfortunately, my experience with Tax Pro Plus did not give me that confidence. The communication was poor, the process felt disorganized, and I never felt like I was receiving the level of attention or explanation I expected from a professional tax service. I ultimately decided to continue looking elsewhere for a tax professional who is more responsive, communicative, and willing to take the time to properly explain the process and answer questions. I hope Tax Pro Plus takes this feedback seriously and works on improving its customer service, communication, and overall client experience. People are trusting you with something very important, and they deserve to feel heard, respected, and confident in the service they're receiving.

I wasn't actively searching for a new tax preparer or CPA for my parents, but after finding them on Yelp, I decided to schedule a consultation and I'm glad I did. Christeane responded quickly and set up a convenient virtual consultation, which I really appreciated. They offer both virtual and in-person appointments, giving great flexibility depending on your needs. Their process is smooth and secure, with an easy-to-use online portal for document uploads, while still allowing in-person submissions/reviews when needed. Throughout the process, Christeane and the team were thorough, patient, and clear in answering all of my questions. I'm very grateful to have found them, have already referred others, and look forward to working with them again next year & bego

I had spoken to several CPAs in a 20 mile radius, and we were generally turned away due to the complicated nature. We also had a horrible experience with another accounting firm prior that took the case and did a sloppy job. I was rather disheartened until I found Michelle. She and her staff are extremely professional, warm, and courteous, and it has been a pleasure working with her team. The only thing that clients should be aware of is that you may not know how much the fees will be until the documents are ready; I guess because prices are due to the amount of work/complication. It would be nice to have a ballpark cost prior to the work, but we trust Michelle and her team, so accepted this condition readily. I would say that the cost is fair for the quality of their work.

Sylvia is the greatest!…read more My wife and I had used TurboTax for our 2020 through 2022 tax returns, with our last two years showing we OWED FIVE FIGURES to the IRS. For 2021, we "bit the bullet" and paid the hefty sum but when it happened again for our 2022 taxes (and with a TurboTax live agent) we sought out a 2nd opinion. Luckily Sylvia had time for to meet with us to discuss our unique situation that involves a whole bunch of RSU's + a confusing K1, and she promptly got a hold of the situation. Needless to say we were very happy to learn that we only owed a much smaller amount for Federal, and in fact were due a lovely refund from the State.
