I had a fairly complicated tax situation this year, and Debra spent time on the phone with me and we communicated through email getting things squared away and helping me get prepared and organized. She spent time making sure I understood my situation and how she planned to file my return. She had good follow-up and answers questions promptly via email. If you are a person who prefers a face to face meeting with your tax preparer, Debra may not be your person. I never met her in person, and worked with her through email, telephone, and by dropping off and picking up paperwork at her mailbox location. Sylvia is the greatest!…read more My wife and I had used TurboTax for our 2020 through 2022 tax returns, with our last two years showing we OWED FIVE FIGURES to the IRS. For 2021, we "bit the bullet" and paid the hefty sum but when it happened again for our 2022 taxes (and with a TurboTax live agent) we sought out a 2nd opinion. Luckily Sylvia had time for to meet with us to discuss our unique situation that involves a whole bunch of RSU's + a confusing K1, and she promptly got a hold of the situation. Needless to say we were very happy to learn that we only owed a much smaller amount for Federal, and in fact were due a lovely refund from the State. Sylvia then started to look into our 2021 taxes and discovered that they were also wildly incorrect, and she has been helping us get that money BACK. Thanks for nothing TurboTax...
