Mehdi and Accu-Key are HIGHLY recommended! I emailed him and he replied promptly. He went to my mother's house and rekeyed all of her locks so she did not have multiple keys to deal with and he also serviced a broken lock for her that I was not aware of. He was very kind to my mother and explained everything to her. He is prompt, professional, reasonable, and very friendly to deal with. He kept me informed by phone of what he suggested and to get the okay before doing anything. (I do not live in the area). He even worked in below zero temperatures even though we told him it could wait. I would not hesitate to do business with him again! He even allowed me to pay by credit card online which is a big plus since I live over an hour away. Thank you Mehdi and best regards! Christine B read more

We just bought a house and wanted to change the locks because you never know how many keys are floating around from the previous tenants, and none of the doors worked with the same key. He arrived the next day and provided some great feedback / suggestions and let me decide how we would proceed. He put my mind at ease and was extremely professional, polite, took pride in his work, and I believe he genuinely wanted to make sure we were getting what was best for our situation in order to keep our home secure without spending more than we needed to. As another reviewer said, he went above and beyond. I'm holding on to his business card in case we decide to get a safe for the house. I would definitely recommend Accu-Key Lock & Safe to anyone in the area. read more

We recently moved to Kettering and purchased an older home that had multiple keys for all of the locks in the house. We had five outside doors and five different keys as well as deadbolts that had a key rather than the latch. We looked online and found Mehdi via Yelp. I called his wife to discuss putting all doors on one key. She gave me an estimate and later Mehdi called to confirm he would be out in a day or so. He showed up and told my wife that the locks we had were in good shape but needed cleaning. Mehdi put deadbolt levers on the doors we needed as well as cleaned each lock. He made sure we had one key that fit all locks and deadbolts. He couldn't have been more professional, honest and courteous. I would highly recommend him. read more

We moved to Kettering from out of town and needed to get locks/keys changed for an old house. Found Medhi via Yelp and saw the good reviews. Wanted a local person who'd been doing this for a long time. Medhi showed up two days after my initial call. Looked at the job, said he would be back the next day. Showed up and explained to my wife what great old locks we had and quoted a price to keep them but bring them up to date. Price was great and he was very professional. He's probably my age but still addressed me as "Sir" even though I told him not to. Very humble, professional man who takes pride in his work. We highly recommend him. read more

I have an antique china cabinet given to me by my Mom . One of the door locks was locked and would not budge. After talking with this very nice gentleman on the phone and trying a few things he advised to try, he had to make a trip here to try and unlock it. He successfully unlocked with no damage to the cabinet, made a new key also , and showed me what had caused the problem, I could not be happier and do not hesitate to recommend him . Very competent, professional businessman , friendly and overall nice experience as a customer. read more

I would give Mehdi ten stars if I could! We had our 100 year old door refinished and when the hardware was put back on the door it would not work properly. There were major issues to address. Mehdi came out, gave us his assessment (went above and beyond), and then came back days later to do the repair because the Door man could not get it right. We have had him out multiple times and he has always been punctual, honest, and offers great customer service. Wish there were more people like this in the world! read more

I would definitely recommend Accu-Key! He was very professional and prompt. I locked myself out of my home and Mehdi had me back in in no time. What's more, is that the customer service and care he took to explain basic lock maintenance after was second to none. In this day and age, finding professionals who are courteous and care about what they do is hard to come by, but Mehdi definitely meet and exceeded any expectations I had. If you ever have a need, I would highly highly recommend Accu-Key! read more

I am someone who has very high expectations (probably too much). That being said, Mehdi completely exceeded all of them. I have been dealing with lock issues in my house for too long. Old lock systems, new locks without keys, etc. Now all work great with the same key! He was professional, quick, and knowledgeable on all the stuff I have. 4 locks, one key! And all the 70 year old locks now work flawlessly! If you go somewhere else, you probably made a mistake. read more

I sent an email to the company because it was after hours. I received an immediate response the very next morning requesting more information. When Mehdi learned of my issue, he gave me the troubleshooting steps to fix the issue myself and was very gracious in doing so, completely free of charge and told me his prices up front if I was unable to rectify the problem. I guarantee that I will recommend him to anyone needing service - fantastic customer service! read more

We would recommend Accu-Key to anyone wanting reliable and professional service. We got what he quoted, and he went out of his way to get exactly what we wanted. He replaced the hardware on 2 closet doors, 3 exterior French doors as well as two other exterior doors. Service was timely and as quoted. We almost gave up on finding someone who could fix the multi-point hardware that had failed on two sets of the French doors. Luckily, we found Mehdi. read more

Medhi and Accu-Key are the best lock and safe company in town. They were able to schedule and complete the work quickly and did a fantastic job re-keying our whole house. He is super knowledgeable about all types of locks, new and old, and was able to quickly diagnose and correct any issues necessary, without overcharging or up-selling at the time the work was completed. I would definitely recommend Accu-Key to anyone in need of this type of work! read more

Mehdi gave me a quote over the phone which was accurate and reasonable. He arrived on time and when he hound outdated locking mechanisms he took care of that for me while he was here. The job was larger than expected but he was nice about doing the additional work while he was here. He gave me good advice and a good estimate of the cost of the added work. Accu kick will be where I go if I need a locksmith again. Highly recommend! read more

We needed a locksmith and the first company we called went to voice mail and we were informed it was full. Great. We then called Accu-Key and was pleased when someone actually answered and responded the very next morning! I am so glad the first company we called was a no-go because from now on this is the only company we will use. Great and quick service and at a very affordable price. Thank you! read more

Mehdi is professional, responsive and honest. I've had the pleasure of working with him twice. I purchased a new home and he re-keyed my locks. While he was there he also reset my garage door remote. While my other home was under contract Mehdi also made adjustments to the back door lock and provided a service report for the buyers. I can't say enough kind words about Accu-Key! read more

Mehdi/Accu-Key was a life saver. Answered my call right away, gave me a quote and was out to get me back into my house within the hour. Also offered to rekey my locks while he was there to save a second service call. He was quick, informative and very polite. Would recommend to friend in a minute. Hope I never need a locksmith again but if I do I will call Mehdi. read more

Mr. Mehdi did an excellent job! He arrived at the time he said he would. He was very professional and did great work. He completed work on 7 locks in a short amount of time.
