Instead, I received no compensation for five days of work performed for Ismail's client. Because the total compensation was less than $600, I later learned there may have been alternative payment methods that would not have required me to provide my Social Security number. Had I known that at the time, I would have chosen an option that better protected my personal information. Entrusting an accounting firm with sensitive personal and tax information carries a significant level of responsibility. When communication breaks down, no clear updates are provided, and payment issues remain unresolved, it creates unnecessary stress and concern. As a result of this experience, I have taken steps to protect my personal information, including placing security measures on my credit files due to concerns about the handling of my sensitive data. I encourage anyone considering this firm to do their own research and carefully evaluate whether they are comfortable sharing sensitive personal information until they are confident their concerns will be addressed professionally. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly. Should note: Ismail hung up on me when I asked if this was a scam... after being ran through loops for months...BEWARE! Edit: I have submitted formal complaints to BBB and CPA. Dishonest practices are not acceptable. If you had no intention to pay me for services rendered, then you should have not taken a 1099/w9 form with my identity information on it. Due to the negligence of this CPA with my social security number and address, I will NOT be removing this review. And I doubt I will ever get payment, I've been waiting since 1/27/2026.

Had that been disclosed during my initial consultation, I would have hired another CPA. After I later received an IRS notice regarding my tax payment, I reached out for assistance and received no response, leaving me to resolve the issue on my own. While the firm ultimately reimbursed the penalties and interest, they refused to acknowledge the broader service issues or take responsibility for the overall client experience.
