All new clients must first be admitted before they can begin to attend. They accept Medicaid and VA Benefits. The staff is friendly and is trained in Dementia and Alzheimer's care. My mom was struggling physically/mentally and would just moan. One caregiver told her to be quiet multiple times. Another one refused to help because she had asked for too much help. One was busy on her phone and didn't bother to put my mom to bed so my mom fell asleep on her recliner. I tried to talk to the person assigned to me for staffing and she didn't answer texts/calls. I cancelled with her because the people that they were sending were so bad, that it was better to have no one. I got no answer till after the weekend and I was told that I needed to give more notice. I explained that I tried to give notice, but that person wasn't answering their phone. They sent one last person out that they claimed was their best and no one had every complained. After that person got my mom to sleep, she turned tv to the station she wanted (in room next to my mom) and then started calling friends on the phone and talking loudly over the tv. Find your own caregivers. Staffing agencies send people that couldn't get jobs on their own.

I found Care Renewed online and the reviews were all excellent so I called and Fritzi was in our kitchen in 2 hours to discuss care and had a caregiver for us the same evening. I finally had a good night sleep! The team that worked around the clock to take care of my grandmother was so warm, lovable and competent. I spent many hours there with them. They took care of everything in her home from laundry, cleaning, bathing to just hanging out and listening to her stories. It's nice to be comfortable with caregivers when they start out strangers and now feel like family. We had a previous experience with a home health company so I was reluctant to hire another. The former sent an aide that was sick and asleep when I stopped by. I am not a fringe family member; I was directly involved in my son's day-to-day care. I reached out to their corporate compliance division several weeks ago, spoke with someone who promised to get back with me at least by the following week; I never did heard back! I have filed several regulatory complaints but those take time and since my son is already in hospice, we don't know how much time is left My heart is broken and no one seems willing to help. Under 42 CFR § 418.64(d) - Counseling Services and § 418.56(c) - Plan of Care, hospice is required to: Assess the family and caregivers for psychosocial needs related to the patient's terminal illness. Offer counseling and social work interventions to support them in their caregiving role. Help resolve stressors as they affect the patient's care and safety.

From the very beginning of this journey she was compassionate, kind, caring, and explained everything so that I could understand it. Whether good or not so good. She kept on top of all my medications and communicated with the doctor if she saw a need for change. She made me feel comfortable with the condition I was in, and would go out of her way to make me more comfortable. Now, praise God, I'm on my own but I miss her terribly. I'm 88 years old so I know it won't be too far off when I may be with Compassus and Tami again. They are fantastic!

We reported this incident immediately to HC. Alice, the owner contacted me and asked me to pay for the medical check using our homeowners policy. Are you kidding me, this was completely inappropriate - as they inspected our property before coming out and we were not the caregivers employer. We were losing our father and we were in no way financially responsible for this incident nor could we handle this kind of issue while facing the death of our father. I would definitely not recommend this company. I have been a healthcare administrator for over 30 years - and knew the procedures for employee incidents. This was so heartbreaking to have Alice to attempt to get us involved. I would not call this Heavenly Care........
