Last year I had to take my son to the doctor so many times unnecessarily because of the same thing which every time his doctor said he was not sick and was fine to be in school . I these people seem to think parents have nothing better to do then go to the doctor everyday to satisfy them . I will be telling all of the parents I know and leaving post on every available platform .

The campus is always spotless--from the grounds outside to the hallways inside. The teachers genuinely care about the students, and it shows in everything they do. I wish there were more places to leave a review because I'd happily leave a five-star review on every platform. Thank you to everyone at the school for all that you do for our kids!

I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Dream City School. In January 2024, I submitted an…read moreapplication for my twins to be reviewed for the SOAR program. Despite my twins attending public school for nearly seven years without accommodations, a Dream City secretary informed me that they did not believe they could accommodate my children's needs. When I asked for specific details about the "needs" they felt they could not accommodate, I was repeatedly met with the same vague explanation. Since January 2024, I have made numerous calls inquiring about the reasons for the denial. Frustrated with the lack of specificity, I visited the school in person to schedule a meeting with the principal for further clarification. An appointment was set, but upon my arrival for the scheduled appointment, I was informed that the principal had left for a family emergency and my meeting would need to be rescheduled. Despite my multiple attempts to reschedule the appointment, I have been met with the secretary insisting that the principal "sent an email," which I have not received, and constantly assuring me that he will send one. It is disheartening that a supposedly Christian school would lack the common courtesy of following through with their promises and providing transparent communication. I left another message last week and am still waiting for a call. This is AFTER I spoke with the secretary the previous two weeks and, each time, was told the principal would get back to me. As someone who paid to have two applications reviewed, I think it only seems appropriate to provide more information. If my children could attend public school for seven years without accommodations, your concerns are based on assumptions from a very outdated IEP without clarification or discussion with me.

This school use to be a great school. I attended this elementary school and never had any issues…read moreuntil my children attended here. I did not have any issues while my son attended k-4th; however, once he entered 5th grade everything went downhill! Bullying is a major issue at this school. My son was continuously bullied and nothing was done until my son took matters into his own hands. He had to start protecting himself and fight back. He was literally drop kicked onto his tail bone. The student was at school the very next day with no consequences. Other incidents occurred with other students when finally my son had enough and fought back. I was contacted that he hit a student with his binder in the head after the other student knocked items out of his hand and attempted to steal his book that he purchased from the book fair. Also, while this was going on with my son, my daughter entered kinder here! She was repeatedly punched on a daily basis from the same student. Paula, the principal, tried to tell me the majority of the children do not know how to interact with other children and in a classroom setting. I understand that; however, this happened on a daily basis and nothing was done to the student. I was also told that my daughter, in kinder at this time, was falling behind. My daughter was reading before she even started at this school! Thankfully I was able to move her to another school where she is succeeding now and was tested for gifted classes. Now, what does this say about the teachers here? The moment I move my child and she is succeeding! Her reading level is three grade levels above her grade level. I highly recommend looking into an alternative school if possible. I was lucky enough to be able to move my children.
